Covergirl Oh Sugar! Lip Balm Review & Swatches

Have you tried Covergirl's Colorlicious Oh Sugar Vitamin Infused Lip Balms? I purchased these, on sale, the beginning of the year. I didn't expect much. I thought CUTE NAME, but will these be so dry that they'll drag across my lips? HaHaHa I was wrong! They are very moisturizing! My lips felt soft, supple & moisturized. There's no taste (despite the sweet inspired names), but each has a sweet candy scent. After looking at their website, I found out that these are Vitamin infused lip balms that contain grapeseed oil, avocado butter, and vitamins C & E. Each gives you a sheer wash of color, but I found 5-10 to be very pigmented. Covergirl goes on to say, these will repair & protect lips. I totally agree. These are available in 10 shades. There's always a sale running. Don't hesitate to purchase them.

  8. I haven't seen these lip balms before but I am amazed by how much their packaging looks like Fresh lip balm packaging. That said, while I love Fresh, I can't justify the price point, and these sound like they work in a similar way. Thanks for a great review Kim, I'll definitely be looking for these on my next trip to the drug store!

  13. I've read mixed reviews on these which was the main reason why I skipped them and never even gave them a second thought. Now that it got a good review from you, I'll pick up one to try.

  18. These look interesting; I love spice and soda. But overall I think I'm more of a bold lip color girl although I could see these being nice for no makeup days. Have you tried the sheer lipsticks from Glossier? Sorry if you did and I missed it; it's been a long day haha!

  27. These pigmentations really had me thinking... hahah I am thinking that I really should get my hands on these, but honestly, I have never really used Cover Girl products, they are one of those drugstore brands that are very expensive in NZ. Lovely review, love your swatches as always, Gumdrop is so mystery, it's gorgeous!
