IT Cosmetics Superhero Liner Review and Swatches

Sponsored: The last IT Cosmetics product I have for review, is their Superhero Liner ($24). You may remember, I wasn't that impressed with their Superhero Mascara. However, I really like their eye liner! The tip is not a felt tip! It's hairs (and thank God the hairs stay in place to make clean lines). IT Cosmetics describes them as Heavenly Skin™ brush hair tips. They're really smooth. They glide and feel good to the skin. I like how you can make different size lines with them; from very thin to thicker ones. It releases just enough product that you don't have to go over things twice. This gel eyeliner is dark black (described as super black; it's not offered in any other colors). It's really good. This eyeliner is also 24 hours waterproof! I found it dried super fast. I rubbed and rubbed and it didn't budge. It definitely stays in place. To prove the staying power of this eyeliner, I used both the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Makeup 3-in-1 Cleansing Balm and Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm to remove this eyeliner and BOTH took THREE applications to fully remove this. LOL So this eyeliner is pretty tough!

IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Blush in Naturally Pretty Review and Swatches

Sponsored: It Cosmetics PR sent me Bye Bye Pores Blush $24 to review. It comes in 3 shades and from my eyes (I wear contacts & glasses), they are all different variations of PINK! I chose Naturally Pretty, because it was the darkest pink out the bunch. I'm really loving this blush. When i swatched it below, I was a little less than impressed. HaHaHa But when I applied it to my cheeks the color was so soft, blended well with my other makeup and gave me a vibrancy. So now it's one of my favorites. In the picture below, I am wearing Too Faced Born This Way Foundation in Natural Beige along with IT Cosmetics Celebration Foundation Illumination, IT Cosmetics Vitality Lip Flush Butter Gloss in Naturally Pretty and of course the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Blush in Naturally Pretty. I'm loving these "Naturally Pretty" shades! I hope they come out with more shades! It's really nice on the skin.

IT Cosmetics Celebration Foundation Illumination in Tan Review and Swatches

I learned about IT Cosmetics Celebration Foundation Illumination Full Coverage Anti-Aging Illumination Foundation $35 (Whew!) from a YouTuber two years ago! I was so impressed with her review that I purchased it. I then started remodeling my home, packed a lot of makeup away and forgot about it. I was going through the last of my makeup stash and found it! Perfect timing for a review! If you decide to purchase this, PLEASE READ the outer box. IT Cosmetics has the foundation. They also have the foundation illumination (this review). As a foundation, this provides light to medium coverage. It says full coverage, but I don't think so. This is also only offered in five shades. However next year, IT Cosmetics is expanding their foundation shade range. So this will probably be expanded as well. I purchased this (2 years ago) in the WRONG SHADE...TAN! From my recent reviews, you guys know I'm in Medium Tan. You can't tell from these pictures, but it's a little dark for me. I've passed it on to my mom who can wear it. In this compact, you get a mirror, powder foundation and brush applicator. I applied my Too Faced Born This Way Foundation in Natural Beige and then topped it off with the IT Cosmetics Celebration Foundation Illumination. This is where the magic happens! My skin had such a wonderful natural looking glow to it after using this! Look at the Too Faced picture; now look at the Too Faced + IT Cosmetics pictures. There's such a difference. No highlighters. No illuminators. My nose, cheeks, forehead etc. has a nice glow to it. So the point I'm trying to get across is this is a really good foundation TOPPER! I wouldn't say it's a great foundation on it's own, unless you have really good skin and can find a shade that fits you. That all could change. BUT I WILL BE BUYING THIS IN MEDIUM (they don't have it in Medium Tan yet)! LOL I super love the effect! I was only able to achieve this with Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop Liquid, Too Faced Candelight Glow, and in the Summer Benefit's Sun Beam. Those were the only three in my stash that gave me "natural" looks. You can peruse my highlighter and illuminator collection, but those look like highlighters! I love the natural finish of this. Benefit has just come out with a Poreprofessional illuminating PRIMER! So we will probably see more of this trend next year! It's all about the glow (but now a natural one).

IT Cosmetics Vitality Lip Flush Butter Gloss in Naturally Pretty Review and Swatches

Sponsored: Last week, I wrapped up my reviews on It Cosmetics Skincare. They have an excellent skincare collection. This week, I would like to review some makeup products they sent me. One is their Vitality Lip Flush Butter Gloss ($24) in the shade Naturally Pretty. This is a lip gloss! It Cosmetics states this is "The crème-de-la-crème of lip glosses!" It promises HIGH SHINE & RICH PIGMENT. That's true (you can see my pictures below). It also promises to glide on like a lightweight serum, that hydrates, repairs and protects lips. That's true as well! When it comes to lip glosses, I think people's main concern is if it is sticky. For me, this lip gloss felt creamy on my lips. My lips felt moisturized and hydrated. I love that it stays put (it's not runny) and gives a soft, but strong-enough wash of color. I would definitely purchase this on my own. This lip gloss also smells like vanilla. I think the only thing I don't care for is the applicator. It's so pointy. This lip gloss contains collagen, hyaluronic acid, peptides, plum oil, cherry oil, shea butter, avocado oil, argan oil and jojoba. It's really nice.

IT Cosmetics Secret Sauce Review

Sponsored: Thanks everybody for the Thanksgiving wishes! The last skincare product I have from IT Cosmetics is their new Secret Sauce ($68 / 2 fl oz) moisturizer. The name always makes me smile. I instantly think about the secret sauce on a McDonald's Big Mac Hamburger. This moisturizer is suppose to be ultra hydrating. It features anti-aging peptides, hydrolyzed collagen, hyaluronic acid, vitamin c and licorice root. It's for all skin types and reduces the look of discoloration, lines and wrinkles. Well, I've been using it for a month now and it's just ok to me. I found IT Cosmetic's Secret Sauce moisturizer to be heavier than IT Cosmetics Confidence In A Cream. I expected it to be! But in my opinion, it doesn't moisturize the skin as well or do any of those things it promises. I feel you can only use this moisturizer at night. I felt it sat atop the skin, instead of sinking into the skin. When I woke up the next morning, my skin only felt slightly moisturized. I have dry skin, so this didn't really work for me. Maybe it's better for Normal, Combination or Oily Skin Types. I MUCH PREFER It Cosmetics Confidence In A Cream moisturizer (link above) and would suggest you purchase that moisturizer instead. It feels really good to the skin. Other moisturizers I prefer for dry skin are Bobbi Brown's Vitamin Enriched Face Base. REN's Ultra Moisture Day Cream or V-Cense Night Revitalising Cream. I also like Lumene day & night cream (a great inexpensive option). Drunk Elephant also has a great nighttime moisturizing duo, you can find in the nighttime duo set (night serum & facial oil). I just feel there are better options out there. This was the only disappointing product out of IT Cosmetics ENTIRE skincare line! I loved everything else. It isn't bad. It just doesn't provide the level of moisture I expected. Overall, I am very impressed with IT Cosmetics skincare! I love it more than their makeup. I have four more makeup products to review of theirs and I will post those next week. Have you tried IT Cosmetics skincare? If so, let me know your thoughts. I want to thank IT Cosmetics for generously letting me try their skincare products and share my thoughts with my readers. Thank You!

5 of the World’s Most Luxurious Foods and Drinks

The two things that are necessary for our very being is food and drink. We need to eat food to fuel our bodies and keep us fit and healthy, and we need to drink, to keep us hydrated and our bodies functioning to their optimal performance. While they are very necessary for our survival, they have also become a signature of our social status, and often valued as luxury. Here are 5 luxurious examples of the finest food and drink that are on offer.

Saffron

Saffron is harvested by hand from the autumnal crop of the crocus flower. The saffron crocus bulbs (crocus sativus) are planted in late summer, and the female stigmas must be picked within a three-week window before the first frost. Each crocus plant produces three stigmas, and they are so delicate that they must be picked by hand – hence the high value of over $2,000 per pound (to put that into perspective, one pound consists of approximately 225,000 stigmas).

White Truffles from Alba, Italy

White truffles are also harvested in fall, but the difference between them and saffron is that they cannot be cultivated, and can only be foraged for in woods (usually by pigs or hounds). The truffles are not only rare but notoriously difficult to transport and keep fresh: they must be eaten within seven days of being harvested. The white truffle surpasses the other varieties of truffle with its fragrance and flavor which is said to be able to perfume a whole room with intense earthy, musky aroma. A 3.3-pound Alba White Truffle specimen sold for a staggering $330,000.

The Setting, a 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon

The most expensive bottle of wine has now been sold by auction for an eye-watering $350,000. Luxury wine storage will be needed in order to retain its quality and value, and to help the owners resist ever uncorking it! The luxury wine market has withstood numerous recessions, and has shown a consistent return on investment, Octavian Vaults, can provide you with all the latest news in this exciting industry.

Beluga Caviar

Beluga Caviar, revered by Hollywood in the 1950s as the most expensive food in the world, is so luxurious that it is recommended only to be eaten using a piece of toast so that the cutlery doesn’t oxidize it. The sense of luxury and its high price is in response to the caviar only being produced by the critically endangered Beluga Sturgeon, who can take up to 20 years to reach maturity to be able to produce their roe. Beluga Caviar costs up to $5,000 per 2.2 pounds.

D’Amalfi Limoncello Supreme

There were only two bottles of D’Amalfi Limoncello Supreme commissioned, and the anonymous client kept one, so there is still one available on the market, but with a price tag of $35.5 million dollars, you must be sure about your purchase – there will not be a returns policy. You may be asking about how this drink has such a price tag, in which case you will be comforted to know that the body of the bottle contains an example of one of the rarest diamonds of 18.5 carats. The spirit inside the bottle is a traditional liquor of Italy’s Campania region, and is diffused with lemon peels, although it is possible that no one will ever dare to break the seal to try it!
