  2. I honestly think everyone looked gorgeous in their own way. The black was like a blank canvas and it allowed everyone to stand out for their own reasons.

  3. I loved Oprah's speech Kim, thanks for sharing! It was wonderful to see the 'Hollywood blackout' and a sign that things may be changing for the better. And of course black is a classic, everyone looks good in a little black dress! :)

Hope that the first week of 2018 went well for you and that this week is off to a good start too!

  4. I don't normally watch award shows but I'm so glad I tuned in for Oprah's speech, it was incredible! And of course, I loved the fashion black out, because I'm such a fan of black. Alicia Vikander's dress was one of my favourites, but there were so many gorgeous looks to choose from.

  6. Everyone looked amazing! There is something about black dresses and gowns. A woman always looks classy and or sexy.
Go Oprah! The talk of her running for president cracks me up. She is so well liked by everyone it seems so she would kill at the polls!

  12. Oprah's speech was so uplifting! The message behind the black dresses is so important. My standouts were Millie Bobby Brown, Helen Mirren, Alicia Vikander and Diane Kruger. It was nice to see a bit of a return to modesty as well.

  13. I loved seeing all the actresses stand in unity with their black dresses, though I felt a little bad for the few that showed up in a different colored dress (hopefully it's because they didn't get the memo...not that they didn't care). My favorite would be either Jessica Biel's or Penelope Cruz' dresses, but honestly they all looked stunning! And so much yes to Oprah's speech, I loved everything she said!
