Morphe 9B Bronzed Babe Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches

I've been blogging since 2012, and do you know I've never tried anything from Morphe Cosmetics!?! When you think of Morphe, you automatically think eye shadow palettes and makeup brushes. I think I shied away from Morphe early on, because they would release these HUGE eye shadow palettes. I was already intimidated with my eye shadow application skills, so huge eye shadow palettes made me even more nervous. HaHaHa Well, that didn't stop me from looking at other blogger's reviews on Morphe. I was always impressed with the quality of their eye shadows. Morphe just released a 9B Bronzed Babe (ULTA) eye shadow palette and you guys it's only ... are you ready? ... $12!!! This 9 pan palette is filled with oranges, browns, coppers and golds. There are 5 mattes and 4 shimmer shades. All the shades swatched really well and there was minimal fall out during application. I used Hang Ten all over the lid & crease of my eye. Road Trip deep in the crease. I applied Faux Real on the lid. I placed Sunnies in the inner corner of my eye. I lined my eyes with Beach Please. Aren't the names fun? The other names are Vacay, Now Boarding, Volcano and Midnight Dip. The shades are really pigmented. I thought they were going to be lighter, but I can definitely use these going into Spring. My lipstick is NYX Wicked in Wrath. This palette has a great mirror. The entire packaging is sturdy and heavy duty. Have you tried anything from Morphe? What do you like, not like? Let me know your thoughts in comments.

  2. Oh Kim, I hear you - I'm intimidated by pretty much anything with vibrant colour but especially eyeshadows! I have tonnes of palettes but I use the same neutral shades over and over (and over.) You know what? I think it kind of works for me and I don't really mind. At least most of the time. But when I see someone I know, like you, looking so gorgeous while experimenting with a palette, I do wonder if I might be missing out. And what steal this palette is at only $12!!

  10. Such a pretty palette, and you look gorgoues Kim! I like how they released a smaller palette, because I agree the larger ones can be intimidating! I own the 35o, and it’s great quality but I never reached for it anymore. Even though there’s so many colors, I was still doing the same look over and over lol! None the less, I’m happy I have it and I love how affordable morphe is! I also have one of their blush palettes and it’s awesome too!

  11. I love the looks of this palette, Kim. I see Morphe here in TV SHowcase kiosks and have always been curious. I'll add this on my getting-longer-and-longer to-try list:D The names of the shades are fun indeed. And I love love love your whole look here! That NYX Wicked in Wrath looks wicked on you!:D

  12. These colors look great on you! I'm glad you had luck with it. I got the Jewel one from Ulta that was also 9 pans. I returned it just because I didn't love it and the quality was okay (the Jaclyn one is so amazing I feel like it didn't compare at all). I do want to try their new 24G one.
