Colgate® Optic White® Platinum™ Stain-Less White™ Toothpaste and Colgate® 360® Advanced Optic White® Manual Toothbrush Review

PR Sample: Colgate-Palmolive sent me full-size samples of both Colgate's NEW Optic White Platinum Stain-Less White Toothpaste (formulated with hydrogen peroxide for deep set stain removal) and their NEW Colgate 360 Advanced Optic White Manual Toothbrush for review purposes. THANK YOU COLGATE PALMOLIVE! I've been testing both for about two weeks now and below are my thoughts on each product. Let me know in my comment section if you've tried this toothpaste and/or toothbrush. If not, what are you using to keep your lovely SMILE pearly white!

Colgate Optic White Platinum Stain-Less White Toothpaste ($4.99-5.99) - Sweet
(formulated with hydrogen peroxide for deep set stain removal)
This toothpaste is a new addition to the Colgate Optic White Platinum family. Immediately what caught my eye, were the words STAIN-LESS and REMOVES DARK STAINS like coffee, wine and soda. We all want and strive for white teeth. Dentist can do the job, but what about in-between those dental visits (and our bad habits). It's either toothpaste, dental strips or trays! This toothpaste contains hydrogen peroxide for deep-set stain removal. It's enamel safe for daily use. It's gluten free. It also contains anti-cavity fluoride protection. It boasts that this toothpaste starts working in 3 days. I found that to be true. Each time I used this toothpaste, my teeth looked better and better. I loved the cool mint flavor. I never experienced any irritation or sensitivity. I felt this toothpaste was better than just regular toothpaste. It definitely felt more powerful but not irritating. Will this remove deep, set in stains? No. Only a professional can remove those, but it's great for in-between care. With daily use, you can see results with the visible eye. I did. I must admit, the first week I used this toothpaste with a new Colgate toothbrush I had just purchased and opened. That toothbrush has ONE spiral bristle and I thought it worked great. When I looked at it in comparison with the one they sent me below, there was a MAJOR DIFFERENCE! Let me talk about the toothbrush COLGATE-PALMOLIVE sent me!

Colgate 360 Advanced Optic White Manual Toothbrush $3.99 1-pack; $6.99 2-pack - Sweet
This toothbrush puts all toothbrushes to shame. It has FOUR spiral polishing bristles. Mine only had one! LOL These bristles help remove surface stains from teeth, for a naturally white smile. It has a cheek and tongue cleaner to remove bacteria from teeth, tongue, cheeks and gums. It also has an ergonomic handle (fit comfortably in your hand), finger grips (help the toothbrush stay in place, reduce slipping and for more precise maneuvering as you brush your teeth). So what I'm trying to tell you is a toothbrush is AS IMPORTANT as proper toothpaste. The toothbrush I used the first week was ok, but when I switched to the one they sent I saw even better results. These are sold individually, but it would also be great if Colgate sold them as a starter kit or packed together. They compliment one another. They're more effective together. Now I just wish Colgate would make a talking toothbrush. Wouldn't that be neat! Kim, brush a little longer. Kim, you need to brush this area better. Etc. Or even better, detect potential problems! Overall, I was impressed with my results. I highly recommend adding both of these into  your daily routine. Look for them at mass food and drugstores. 3. I've tried quite a few different Colgate toothpastes and so will probably end up giving this one a go sometime soon too! Happy to hear it performs well; though you're right, it'd be even better if they were sold together! :)

  4. Sounds like they are missing out on a great thing there Kim - they should start packaging the toothbrush and paste together, and definitely give you some money for the idea, haha!

I will need to keep an eye out for this in the stores here, it sounds wonderful! I usually just buy whatever is on special, ha!

Hope you are having a nice start to your week! After a busy weekend spending time with some friends from Church who flew in from the US, I'm enjoying a quieter week.

  5. I buy Colgate paste pretty often and my experiences were always good. I think I tried this one as well, I'm not 100 percent sure but I think I did. I think I even have the same toothbrush. I rotate between two or three toothbrushes at all times, between soft ones and hard ones because sometimes my teeth can be very sensitive.

It would be a great idea to sell these two together, Colgate should take you on your idea.

    Have a lovely day!

  8. It's cool that the toothbrush has a cheek and tongue cleaner. Kim you're so right that it is really important to pair a good toothbrush with your toothpaste to get the most out of both. Colgate used to be my brand before I made the switch to natural toothpastes.

  9. I thought all toothbrushes came with tongue and cheek cleaners now. Shows how much attention I pay when buying mine hahahaha! I'm not a fan of whitening products because I always seem to have a gross reaction to the paste and it leaves my mouth with residue after. Hard to explain but for this reason I always stay aways and am too frightened to try again!

  11. Glad these worked for you. I don't know why but whitening toothpaste makes my teeth super sensitive!

  12. I'd try them both too! I'm always game for a great whitening toothpaste. A good toothbrush (and technique!) are also key to good oral health!

  13. I haven’t tried these! That’s aweomse that the toothpaste works so well with the tooth brush. I get paranoid about my teeth turning yellow and I use a crest whitening toothpaste. I feel like I need something new though so I might have go try these!

  14. I drink coffee all day everyday and I find that whitening toothpaste is so important. I don't use the colgate brand. Maybe I should give it a try. 😊💞

  15. I have been a dedicated Crest Pro-Health user for a long time. I never thought I would be fussy about toothpaste until I tried and, since then, I've never been able to go back. But I've noticed in recent years the number of new, more advanced toothpastes on the market, including this one from Colgate, and I admit I'm tempted to try some new things - they make amazing promises and I'd be thrilled if they could deliver!
