We all feel anxious from time to time. Whether we have an upcoming job interview or are dealing with a lot of changes, it is perfectly normal to feel a little anxious. 1. Speak about how you are feeling

Your anxiety will try to make you feel isolated. However, it is important to remember that you are never alone - there is always somebody you can reach out too should you need help - be that a friend or healthcare professional. Don’t be afraid to talk candidly about how you are feeling - it can help you process your emotions and stops you from bottling them up. Remember, your feelings are always valid. Never push them aside or try to ignore them. Instead, engage in a conversation about them - this will help you find practical solutions to move forward with, and can help you better understand your anxiety triggers.

  • Exercising daily - even for just 15 minutes.
  • Spending time outdoors and amongst nature.
  • Meditating
  • Practicing self care

If you google the phrase, ‘anxiety’ into google, you will instantly met by thousands and thousands of results - with plenty of treatment options described. Therefore, you should take the time to find the best treatment for you - as there are numerous variations out there. For example, some people find their anxiety is easier to deal with after attending group therapy sessions, whilst others prefer to speak to a therapist alone.

Alternatively, many people find that cannabis, or CBD oil, is an effective tool in helping relieve stress and tension. However, you should ensure you do thorough research before you purchase any. There are plenty of resources online, that allow you to locate a cannabis dispensary near me’, and also offer you support and guidance by answering any questions you might have about cannabis and its uses.

4. Take a break

Society encourages us to be continually productive. Whether we are comparing ourselves to others online, or being told we aren’t working hard enough - we’ve built a culture that tells us we always need to be doing something. However, this simply isn’t true. Your feelings of anxiety will not go away because you are keeping yourself busy, especially if you aren’t giving yourself time to think. Therefore, you should always take a break when you need one.
