PR Sample: This week, I've been reviewing and comparing an assortment of Lancome mascaras that were sent to me. I've reviewed Lancome's CILS Booster XL Enhancing Lash Primer, Hypnose Drama Waterproof and Definicils Mascara. I must say you guys, as I try each its getting harder to choose a favorite. Each mascara gives you a different look. I think its great that there are options. Different strokes for different folks. Today I will be reviewing Lancome's NEW Lash Idole Waterproof Lash Lifting Volumizing Mascara (Selfridges, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales) and Waterproof Idole Liner. If you're a regular reader of this blog, you may remember I reviewed Lash Idole (Neiman Marcus, Selfridges) last year. I loved it and gave it a Sweet rating. I'm so glad Lancome came out with a Waterproof version, because with the humidity we have in New Orleans and the constant emotional roller-coaster of events we have to deal with in the world today, Waterproof is my best friend. Let's start with the mascara. Lash Idole is a great everyday mascara. It's your lashes, but BETTER! Lancome describes the effect as "feathery soft lashes" and that is what you get. This mascara gives you lift, length and volume. This mascara is 24 hours waterproof, has a 360 micro bristle brush head, and is infused with white tea extract, antioxidant and conditioning care. Its very lightweight and has a gel formula. I use this mascara as an everyday mascara and love it. Have you purchased Lancome's CILS Booster XL Enhancing Lash Primer yet? You need to jump on that, because applying it before your mascara, takes everything to the next level! This series has been tedious to do, but so worth it when you see the before (just with the mascara) and after pictures (with the CILS XL Booster added to your lashes, prior to applying your mascara). It just gives your mascara and lashes that oomph! That razz-a-ma-tazz! Now the Idole Liner. You guys, this eye liner is absolutely amazing. So sleek and easy to handle. With its felt tip, you can make fine lines, thick lines, and fill in everything in between. No steady hand required! Make a mistake, use a q-tip to remove the error. Now, once this liner SETS, it is SET! It won't smudge, budge ... its going to stay in place! Idole Liner is also Waterproof. Look at my gif below and I'll include the video on my instagram page. This liner doesn't budge! I am really working my hand over those lines. Absolutely amazing! I love it! I just received my ULTA magazine for the month. There's a beautiful advertisement featuring both of these products. So I took a picture of it and featured it below. Tomorrow, I have something BIG for you! Hint: The name of the next Lancome mascara I will be reviewing for you.
