It's FINALLY Halloween! I know my readers are saying THANK GOD! HaHaHa! Yes, it's "trick or treat" time! I'm pooped. I'm tired. I'm thinking about being lazy and placing my trick-or-treat bowl of snacks outside with a sign that reads "please take ONE". Do you think the kiddos will be honest and take just ONE? HaHaHa Has anyone ever tried that? I would love to hear what happened. I have a bowl of candy, but I also have bags of chips and a variety of crackers. I costumed as a DOLL this year! Can you believe, I've never been one? It was very easy to do and the only thing I had to buy was a wig. I was going to giveaway this dress, but looking at it (and I apologize for not taking a full-length pic) it would also work as a flapper costume. So maybe I'll hold onto it! HaHaHa I also whipped up some classic, candy corn, cupcakes. I'm loving cupcakes more than cakes nowadays. HaHaHa Do you have a favorite treat? Wishing everyone a DOLL-tastic day!

ReplyDeleteYou look wonderful doll, love that costume :)) Not sure if people would be honest and only take one, but maybe they would :) Giving out candy can be fun, but it does sometimes take away from enjoying it yourself as your too busy opening the door and handing out the candy. Maybe do a bit of both when you get tired :) I hope you have a wonderful time, you do look fabulous, love that costume ;) xx

ReplyDeleteWe don't get trick or treaters here - we are in a gated complex so that keeps most of them away I guess, plus it's not such a big thing here. Hope you have fun and see lots of cute kids costumes :)

Any kids who stop by will be so lucky to get your treats. No homemade stuff from me, i just bought a few bags of candies from store. I did whip one batch of chocolate peanut butter for a little one to share at her daycare though.

ReplyDeleteSpeaking from experience, when my sisters and I were younger and a neighbor left a bowl of candy outside... we definitely took more than one! It's like potato chip, you just can't have one, ha ha!
