Challenge #10 - Eat Dark Chocolate - Dark Chocolate is a stress reducer. Do you eat dark chocolate? Do you like it? I'll be honest, I eat more milk chocolate than dark. I'll eat a piece of dark chocolate every now and then. With Easter only a couple of days away, this challenge was very easy. There's candy everywhere! I thought I would share with you, some Easter candy I purchased. Russell Stover came out with the cutest Easter collection this year. I love their packaging. I also picked up some cute cupcakes from my neighborhood bakery (Robert Fresh Market). They make the cutest things for the holidays. I plan on going to Easter Brunch and attending Mass this weekend. I'll also be blogging and posting this weekend. I have a review for Whish (Saturday) and an Obiqo Skincare & Giveaway (Sunday). Next week, is the final week for the AVEENO de-stress challenge. I'm saving the best for last :) You won't want to miss it! Have A Happy Easter Everybody!

Here are some past Easter posts :)

  1. I'm not a huge dark chocolate fan, but I do use it for baking. A little bit is ok, but I couldn't sit and just eat it, I'd be sick. Those cupcakes look awesome, the green grass looks like 3d almost, like it's going to move, haha!! Love those. I hope you have a marvellous Easter weekend doll, enjoy yourself!! Lots of blessings...love you Xxxx

I don't really like dark chocolate - I prefer milk or white chocolate as I'm a sweet tooth :)

  9. Oh, the chocolate... Love it. I make my own these days, so don't get tempted by Easter treats at all (I know, I am BORING! :) ) And yes, chocolate is definitely great for the mood - all that magnesium... :)

  10. i'm more of a milk chocolate or white chocolate type of person. dark chocolate was always too strong for me, but didn't realize that it had the effect to help with stress. more than chocolate though, those jelly beans are calling my name! happy easter weekend to you!

  18. I'm inclined to think that all chocolate reduces stress! I don't discriminate between chocolates - I love them all, ha ha - but I do prefer milk to dark. Still, I'll try anything once and especially at Easter. I'm going to have to check my local area for these Russal Stover packages, they're adorable. Happy Easter, Kim!

  22. I have to admit that Easter treats this time of the year get me! hehe.

I don't eat chocolate as often as I used to when I was a kid but I like to mix it up with both milk chocolate and dark chocolate. Though, I only learned to like dark chocolate as an adult. As a kid, I was all about milk and white chocolate! =D

  36. Ooh didn't those chocolates go down quickly. And those cupcakes, well, I think cake designing has been quite of the fashion lately, and the piping on those are adorable!

On a slightly more morbid note (I'm sorry to bring down the tone, but I wanted to reply to your comment) I'm pretty sure SK has the highest suicide rate in the world. There are lots of bridges that go across the main river, and some of the most 'popular' have motivational phrases like "You are worth it" and "You are a special person" to dissuade people from jumping. It's that bad. I think you hit the nail on the head when you ask if Koreans don't deal with failure very well. It's a culture where failure is not as acceptable as in Western culture, and weakness is frowned upon. So yes, I think there is a link between the acceptance of failure and a ridiculously high suicide rate (often of young people who aren't achieving as high as they'd like at school - ludicrous, I know).
