Watercolours

Spring beauty and fashion has been popping up. I've been seeing a lot of blues, greens, pinks and neutrals in beauty collections. Especially eye shadows. I've saved a lot of money, because blue & green eye shadows don't look very good on me. Eye liner? It depends. Nail lacquer? It depends. So instead of taking risks, I purchased the green dress below. I simply transferred my energy from beauty to fashion ;) I came across some other cool things while browsing online. Happy to share them with you! When I look at these colors, they remind of water color paintings, Oscar Claude Monet and Girl Scout uniforms. Did you know Yankee Candle has a Girl Scout Candle Collection? Why YES! You can now get a thin mint, trefoil, etc. candle :) This will definitely save you calories from eating the cookies! You can thank me later ;)

  3. Oh what a good buy, that dress is lovely! Really nice shade too. I like the Dior polish as well! :)

back when I was more into makeup I had loads of blue polishes! Now every time I get a makeover they give me gold or brown, so if I was to buy a set again those would be the colours I'd go for instead. :)

  16. Green is actually one of my favourite colour, I love using it on my nails however, I only have a couple of clothes in green. No idea why I don't buy more green clothes, maybe I don't want to prance around like a Asian leprechaun? LOL!
You choose some great items here, Kim and gosh, I am in love with that trench coat!

  22. Green has never been my favorite color until recently. I don't really have many items in green for that reason. I do love the rich green color though, very pretty. I am with you on the blue/green eye shadows, Kim. They don't look good on me either.

  28. There aren't many shades of green I really like wearing - actually, olive probably sums it up, in both make-up and clothing. Sounds like I may be saving some money from my beauty budget this season, too!

  31. Green is one of my favorite colours, but not to wear. I do like it on my nails and I have got a few eyeshadows in different hues but I've never actually used them. And by that I mean not taken them out on the town.
