Squeeky Clean Daisy Fresh Shower Detox & Body Better Body Lotion Review and Swatches

Cheap can be GOOD and cheap can be BAD. So what's the verdict with these? Wellllllll, I LOVE trying international beauty products! SMILE! I placed an order with Creightons for some beauty stuff and came across these cuties. The packaging was super cute! Each was only a £1.99 ($3.03 USD). I said what the hell? Let me try them and added them to my cart. Well I got them annnnddd....here we go! The Squeeky Clean Daisy Fresh Shower Detox smelled like pink bubble gum (in the tube). That's good right? Yep! It also has a beautiful lavender color. The problem is once it comes out the tube. It just goes wrong...wrong...wrong! The scent quickly becomes artificial. It lathers. It cleans. But it just smells STALE and it doesn't do a great job moisturizing. Bottom line...I wouldn't wash a parakeet with this stuff! NEXT!!!When I tell you, Squeeky Clean Body Better Body Lotion is THE WORSE lotion I have ever, ever, ever, evAH tried...you best believe it! It's horrid! It comes out looking creamy, but it's watery. The scent is artificial. It dries leaving a film. My tube is in the trash! LOL The other products I ordered from them are delightful :) So I'm glad shipping wasn't a waste. Those are my thoughts :) This week is Squeaky Clean Week. I'll have another review tomorrow ;)

  6. At first glance I thought these were Soap and Glory products lol. The packaging looks so similar. That's a shame these products didn' work for you. At least you didn't spend a lot of money on them. Great review as always Kim!

  7. Ack! Too bad these weren't any good, Kim, coz the packaging was cute. I guess in this case, cheap isn't good!

  8. So cute. That's a shame they weren't good. I bought a similar affordable item before too and the packaging was sooo cute but the smell was artificial and awful to use. I know the feeling. Thankfully, most of the items I get don't turn out like these did.

  9. I tried their lotion once, and had the same "film" problem. I have an allergy to a lot of cosmetics, so I always swatch them (even lotions) on my arm and wait a few days before I really use them. I'm glad I waited, because I broke out horribly in the spot where I applied it. Glad I'm not the only one that had a bad experience!

  12. Oh gosh these sounded like such a nightmare. I can practically hear those screams of mock horror! Nothing worse than body lotions that leave that ickyness atop your skin.

  20. Thank heavens these weren't expensive!! I've never heard of these before actually, if I ever come across them though, I'll know to pass. What a shame. I hate watery lotion so much, it's like 'did I put any on or have I just wasted half the bottle there' I've had other lotions so think I thought my skin would rip off, hahaha! What a shame. Well, now we know! Super review doll :) xx

  21. What a shame... It looks so good! My personal opinion is that cheap products are hardly ever good due to the quality of the ingredients. Baci,

  25. Yikes. I am so sorry that it sucked. It looks creamy but I guess you can never judge by a product by it's package, right?

  26. You are so right when you say sometimes cheap can be good and sometimes cheap can be so darn bad. And I am so sorry you had such a bad experience with this. I for one hate purchasing something and it turns out to be nothing like the description describes. Thanks for the warning Kim.

  27. Eek! Both sounds horrid and I agree with Rowena, thank goodness these weren't expensive. It does makes me wonder if the manufactures tested these on themselves before producing it? Looking forward to your other reviews, Kim!

  35. Oh no it's a shame they weren't to your liking, I hate scents that go artificial and chemically especially if they leave a lasting scent on the skin. I suppose it's good that you didn't break the bank on them!
