L.A. Girl USA Cosmetics Beauty Brick in Spice

There are two cosmetics brands, I hear about on a daily basis! Colourpop and LA Girl USA Cosmetics. Both are VERY inexpensive. Colourpop has a HUGE SELECTION, so it was easier for me to choose a product from LA Girl! BTW, LA Girl has face, lip, eye and nail products. I heard good things about their beauty bricks, so I decided to order one! Currently, there are FOUR: Glow, Pinky, Spice and Glam. I picked Spice! For $9 this palette is really good! Each brick gives you 2 blushes, 1 bronzer, 1 highlighter and a built in narrow mirror. When I initially looked at the colors, I was afraid they would be too strong, but that wasn't the case. They're highly pigmented, but create a very soft look. The milk chocolate bronzer and champagne gold highlighter will work with any skin-tone. The pink & coral blushes were also complimentary. I ended up mixing both blushes. I'm impressed with the quality. Now (in my opinion) this won't give you the sophisticated polished look I achieved with the Bobbi Brown Sandy Nudes Collection but it will give you a very nice everyday and fun weekend look. I heard LA Girl's lipsticks are good! I'll have to try them. Have you tried anything from LA Girl Cosmetics?

  4. This palette is very good, especially for such an affordable price. Plus, I really like the make up look you have created.

I don't think this make up brand is available here in Europe. This is the first time, I have heard of it.

  5. I've saw this palette by a chance last week on Amazon... because, well I'm a huge palette lover and prefer bronzer over blush. I think it gives a certain sun kissed holiday look all over the year. Would definitely love to use this one with the highlighter! Kim, LOVEEE this natural make up look on you - the matte shades suit you perfectly!!!! So cute... ;-P

  17. OMG, I agree with you, it seems like everyone and their great grandmas are talking about ColorPop these days and I am over my head on what to try or buy or even read. Haha! I have not read much about L.A Girl so this is a good post, Kim. I think I'll head over their site and have a browse.

  21. I have to admit this is a new brand introduction to me - probably because I'm based in the UK? Maybe I've been living underneath a rock? haha :) The lighter option of blusher is beautifully feminine!

  26. Ooooh I need one of these palettes Kim!! I'm a sucker for palettes that have the blush bronzer and highlight in one. And it's hard to find a good one that I like all the shades. This looks super pretty on you! I've never tried LA girl before! I'm impressed with ColourPop but I was very overwhelmed when I was trying to pick stuff out on their website.
