Lipstick Queen: Have Paris (Silver Screen Collection)

The first Lipstick Queen lipstick I ever tried was, 'Let Them Eat Cake' (last year)! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT for it's originality, uniqueness and superb quality. But that is what I expect, when paying $50 for a lipstick! HaHaHa Lipstick Queen's lipsticks are not cheap! They cost anywhere from $22 - $50 each. I decided to try another one, and picked 'Have Paris' from Lipstick Queen's SILVER SCREEN COLLECTION. This collection was inspired by the glamour of the silver screen. There are 7 shades in the collection and 'Have Paris' is described as an iconic scarlet red. It's truly sumptuous! The outer packaging is a soft, grey velvet with silver writing. The lipstick itself is encased in a hard silver case, that magnetically closes. And the lipstick is engraved with the Lipstick Queen insignia. The color is superb! Very rich! It applies well to the lips. I'm finding Lipstick Queen lipsticks to be heavier than your normal lipsticks, but they feel really good to the lips. Despite the heaviness of the lipstick, it still manages to create an excellent shine and smoothness on the lips. I find that amazing, because heavy lipsticks are usually very DRY and DRYING (at least in my experience). The wear time is also awesome! You can sip, eat and drink and this lipstick stays put for hours. I really don't have any complaints. With this red, the color is not as unique as Let Them Eat Cake but the QUALITY of the lipstick is what blew me away. I get the red pigmentation & shine I want, without it sliding all over my lips or making my lips look dry. This lipstick stays put! The WINNER of the $25 Sephora egift card or PayPal Giveaway is Erica Price of the UK! Congratulations Erica! I sent you an email! Enjoy your prize! :)

  25. Wow that is expensive, $50! I have not bought lipstick in forever as I don't wear it because I do not like my teeth. But sometimes I try it on in Sephora and love how it brings my face alive but then I smile and forget it. And I have perpetual chapped teeth so generally stick to glosses if I wear anything. But this sounds oh so decadent and fun.
