IT Cosmetics Limited Edition All That Glitters Makeup Brush Set For ULTA

Sponsored: I always love a bit of sparkle in the New Year! A little bubbly is also nice :P Let me leave that alone! Over the holidays, PR sent me It Cosmetics for ULTA All That Glitters makeup brush set ($58). This set is Limited Edition and still available. When I first saw the picture, I thought it was pretty BUT <you know I have my BUTS about things> I immediately thought ... How well are these constructed? Will sequins fall out all over the place? Will the brushes feel rough to the touch, with all that bling on the handle? Will the brush bristles feel rough against my skin? I know you have those same questions! Let me put your fears to rest! The handles to these brushes are sparkly & SMOOTH! Nothing came apart over the holidays! The "hairs" on the brushes are soft, fluffy and feel luxurious! They really applied my makeup well! They are as soft as MINK! You get 5 brushes: powder, foundation, eye shadow, concealer, and liner/brow brush. It's a very nice set to have. Just looking at the sparkles makes me HAPPY and SMILE! The case is also nice! You have that beautiful sparkle on the outside with magnetic closure and IT/ULTA insignia. There's a slot for each brush and a flap that covers them. There's even a zipper compartment on one side of the flaps. You can easily put in a tube of foundation, lipstick, blush, eye pomade etc. (small things) in that area. If you need a SPARKLY clutch, this could easily mimic one! It's very fashionable. Someone would have to look very hard to see, this is for makeup brushes. This is a fabulous set of brushes, but I still think $58 is a tad too high in price. I would've priced this at $49.99. But anything beauty related nowadays, unfortunately is going up in price. Since this is Limited Edition, this should be going on sale soon. Favorite it and see if the price goes down! It's really nice! Have you tried IT Cosmetic Makeup Brushes? What are your thoughts?

  1. What a lovely sparkly set Kim! :D I like the matching clutch. Like you said you could easily wear it out, you don't need to just keep it for the brushes :)

Hope you are having an awesome start to the year! :)

  2. Those are some seriously sparkly brushes, Kim! I know they would definitely put a smile on my face when I applied my make-up in the morning - this set looks like a lot of fun, and I'm glad to hear that it works as well as it looks :)

  3. I am loving the sparkles. Thanks for the review, Kim. My first thought was indeed that the glitters look like they might come off, but good to know they don't!
    Have a fab day:)

  4. I have their flattop foundation brush and LOVE it; I haven't experienced any fall out and I've had it for well over a year! That said, I'm glad that their limited edition isn't lacking in quality, which is sometimes the case with these collections. I, of course, love the sparkle and design, it's so glamorous and would look so pretty on a vanity, too! Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts with us, beauty, and I hope you're enjoying the first week of the new year so far!

  5. My It Cosmetics brushes are one of my all time favorites and I am obviously very jealous of your sparkly bedazzled set! So pretty! I use my IC brushes more than any other brand so I had no doubt they'd be amazing!

  6. The set is really beautiful. I couldn't see spending that much money on them though but I guess that is because I only use 2 different sized Kabuki brushes for my makeup application.

  7. This looks like such a fab brush set and the sparkles really do set it apart Kim. Good to know they're well made and that the shimmer doesn't come off. That fear always puts me off anything with glitter. That said I do agree with you that it's a little pricey but it might be worth it on sale. I always hear good things about IT beauty products and TBH I had no idea they also made makeup brushes.

  8. I've seen a few US bloggers reviewing this set and I wish it wasn't Ulta exclusive. I do like IT Cosmetics and I find their products to be pretty good. And no kidding about beauty products being overpriced these days but hey, we the consumer are buying them so the blame is on us after all. :-(

  9. This set looks GORGEOUS! but I agree, $58 is pretty steep. I really need a big fluffy powder brush like this but I'm pretty sure that I'm gonna try the new elf one since its so much cheaper.
