REN Clean Skincare: V-Cense Revitalising Night Cream, Instant Firming Beauty Shot, Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask and Vita Mineral Daily Supplement Moisturising Cream Review

Happy Weekend Everybody! I started using REN Clean Skincare in 2015 and I must say it has really helped improve my dry/sensitive skin. Breakouts are nearly non-existent. My complexion looks radiant & glowing. My skin feels supple. Feel free to read my past REN skincare reviews (non-sponsored). It wasn't until I started using REN, that I felt comfortable going makeup-free! I would ALWAYS wear makeup, whether I was going to the store ... post office ... etc! LOL I've been so impressed with REN Skincare, that I decided last year to purchase more of their products. I was curious about them. I've tested them for a year and I'm ready to give my opinion! I can't stress enough, the importance of finding a good skincare system that works for YOU! If your skin isn't right, no makeup in the world will look right on your face! I will still review other brands of skincare (cautiously), because I feel ONE BRAND doesn't cover it all (all that you need). I'm also finding products that I like in other brands such as Tatcha, Mad Hippie and Drunk Elephant. That's why I like to try things! Is something better than what I'm using? Can this be added into my skincare regimen? I'll be doing one more week of skincare reviews and then I'll be moving on to the rest of the highlighters in my collection.

REN V-Cense Revitalising Night Cream ($57) - Supersweet

Before I started using REN night cream, I was using Aveeno's Ultra Calming Nourishing Night Cream. The Aveeno night cream is excellent, but the REN night cream gives me a little more. The Aveeno made my skin very soft by the time I woke up in the morning. But the REN does two things! It softens my skin and it provides MORE MOISTURE! The REN night cream is formulated to hydrate the skin overnight, even out skin tone, and smooth fine lines. I feel it does everything it says. It's creamy. It's lightweight. You don't feel overpowered with cream on your face at night. There's no scent. It absorbs quickly. It just feels really good to the skin and you wake up with nourished skin.

REN Instant Firming Beauty Shot ($56) - Supersweet

This is absolutely amazing! It is literally a face-lift in a bottle! If you want your skin to be taut, tight & firm, you gotta get this. It's best to dispense a drop in one area of your face (ex. forehead) and then work it into the skin going UPWARDS. Do that for every section of your face. You will then feel as if a vacuum is sucking your skin UP & back! The skin on my nose looked so tight! When REN says it will give you the perfect canvas to apply makeup, they are not kidding. It's a liquid. It's considered a serum. It is sticky. Give it about 15-30 minutes and you will see the difference. The only thing with this, is that the results are temporary. For me, the effects lasted about 6 hours. But I was very impressed with the results. But just get ready for that super "sucking" effect! HaHaHa

REN Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask ($55) - Supersweet 

(THIS IS NOT FOR ANYONE WITH SENSITIVE SKIN)

This mask is really good, but it is NOT FOR ANYONE THAT HAS SENSITIVE SKIN. I didn't see that disclaimer when I purchased it. I tried the mask and I had a little, not-redness but flushness in the area not under the eye (I didn't apply it there). But it was the area in-between the under eye and cheek area. The rest of my face was fine! I was lucky! I tried this mask twice (despite the warning), and the second time I wasn't as fllushed in that area. Let me tell you, my skin felt clean. It was very soft and just using it two times, my complexion looked brighter. I didn't want to continue using this, so I gave it to my mom. She has normal skin. She loves it! She said the same thing. My skin felt cleaner, without feeling stripped. She has a brighter complexion. She felt her skin felt smoother. She felt the mask could be used once a week. THIS IS A SERIOUS MASK you guys! It's orange and everything about it reminds me of orange marmalade. The scent. The color. The consistency. It is sticky. It's actually a cocktail of four AHA's (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) including glycolic acid from pineapple, lactic acid from passion fruit, citric acid from lemon, and tartaric acid from grape. It's suppose to lift dead skin, reduce sun damage, hyperpigmentation, old acne scars and resurface skin texture.

REN Vita Mineral Daily Supplement Moisturizing Cream ($39) - Bittersweet

Well, they can't all be perfect! I REALLY love REN's Ultra Moisture Day Cream. It provides moisture without conflicting with my makeup application. It's lightweight. It absorbs quickly. So I was curious about their Mineral Daily Supplement Moisturizing Cream. It's the exact opposite! It's SO HEAVY you guys! To me it's like a night cream! It's thick. You really have to work it into the skin for it to absorb. I have a problem wearing this and makeup. It's just too much. I'm using the remainder as a night cream. It's suppose to give your skin vital nutrients, moisture and antioxidants. I didn't see a difference with my skin using this. Again, buy the Ultra Moisture Day Cream ($57). It's much, much better! You will feel & see the difference.

REN has a multitude of products! So I know I will try more products in the future. I will definitely review them for you, as I test them out. I love the fact that they're considered clean skincare: NO parabens, sulphates, mineral oil, petrolatum, synthetic fragrance or colors, TEA, DEA, glycols, silicones, PEGS. BUT REALIZE, MOST REN SKINCARE PRODUCTS ARE ONLY GOOD FOR 9 MOS AFTER OPENING THEM! Hope you're having an amazing weekend!
