Sponsored: Hey guys! I'm finally ready to give my opinion on the last three (3) products Murad sent me. I've been testing these for about a year. I want to thank Dale of
Savvy Spice for recommending my blog to
Murad Skincare and of course Murad for being so generous in sending me so many products throughout this two (2) year period (since 2015). Also, for allowing me to give my honest opinion on all products reviewed.
You can read all of my MURAD skincare reviews here.

Murad Rejuvenating Lift For Neck & Decollete ($58) - Supersweet
I REALLY like this neck & decollete cream. I wouldn't even call it a cream. The consistency is more like a lite yogurt, but without the stickiness. It's very hydrating and moisturizing. You can really feel it going into your skin. It will also give your skin a very nice glow. My neck and chest area looked a lot more hydrated, moisturized and firm while using this. This cream has Retinyl Palmitate and Brazilian Fruit Extracts that promote collagen production and plump up the skin. It has Bearberry and Licorice Root Extracts to brighten the skin, even out skin tone, and reduce the appearance of age spots and discoloration. It also has Phytoestrogens which help in improving elasticity and delivering essential moisture. I would definitely repurchase this.
Intensive Wrinkle Reducer For Eyes ($95) - Bittersweet
This eye cream felt very moisturizing to my eyes. When I applied it to my under eye area my skin felt refreshed. It felt great, but the problem I had was that I never saw a difference in my under-eyes while using this product. Lines were still there. The area didn't seem plumper. This has hyaluronic microspheres that are suppose to decrease wrinkle depth, but again my lines stayed the same. Also, this comes in a REALLY BIG BOX! The actual product is tiny! C'mon Murad, that box is way too big!
Intensive Age Diffusing Serum ($75) - Bittersweet
What I like about this serum, is that it feels like a moisturizer. Most serums are sticky and this is not. It feels hydrating to the skin, but it's not enough for my dry skin (maybe for normal, combination and oily skin types). It's suppose to reduce the appearance of medium to deep wrinkles and combat age related dehydration. I just never saw that happen with my skin. I'm much more impressed with the
Mad Hippie Vitamin A Serum and
Drunk Elephant TLC Framboos Glycolic Night Serum.
I've heard of Murad but never tried any of their products. I'll have to check them out soon. Why the big box?? lol http://www.mrsqbeauty.com
ReplyDeleteooh I need to try that neck cream! Sounds amazing.

I'm glad the face and neck cream was at least a winner! Like I mmebtioned on Instagram, I've never tried their products before, though I've heard so much about them. It's good to have an idea for what to expect from certain products, since I trust your judgement so much. Thanks for sharing m, beautiful!

I love the sound of that neck and decollete cream. Honestly, even though the other products weren't winners, I feel like finding a good product for the neck area from any brand is a major win, I've just had so many skincare misses in that particular type of product in the past.

Hi Kim, too bad that the eye cream and serum didn't work well for you. Your reviews are always the best.
ReplyDeleteI was hoping for the Eye cream to work out but shame it didn't. The Rejuvenating Lift seems interesting but not sure how diligent I would be in applying it on a daily basis. Perhaps I just need to give it a good try because the ingredients and your thoughts on them look great x

Oh no, such a shame not all of the products worked for you. It's great that they just didn't perform as nicely as expected given how highly you regard their other products. It would have been really bad if these were unpleasant to use as well, so it's not all bad - at least they were nice to apply, even if the promised results never appeared! :)
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a great week Kim :)
Away From The Blue Blog
Murad is a brand I always read about in posts but I never got to try it. Thank you for the detailed review and too bad that not all products worked for you, it's really sad when you are committed to a product and it is disappointing in the end.

I have not tried Murad so far, but it is an interesting brand for sure. Even if some products did not work for you, that is to be expected with skincare and such. We all have different needs.

The Rejuvenating Lift definitely does sound like a winner, Kim! Many people forget that area but that's one area where age really shows in some. And agree with the others...too bad the others didn't work for you but sounds like they would still work for others who have normal skin. (I'm not one of those though:P)
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday:)
Kim, I haven't used any products from Murad in quite some time and all of your reviews of their products have been super helpful to inform me of which products I should try and which I should avoid. I always appreciate your thorough testing and honest opinions :D Thank you!!!
ReplyDeleteToo bad about the bittersweet ... however it does show that not all brands have all of the best... and the only way to know is to try or to read your reviews ;)
ReplyDeleteI don't understand why companies do that, small product but mage huge box packaging...liek seriously why? Thank you for the honest review, Kim! xx

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on these, Kim! I'm always interested in your Murad reviews! the neck cream sounds nice! I've never used one before! That's too bad you didn't see results with the eye cream! I like serums that aren't sticky too, but they need to at least be moisturizing!
ReplyDeleteYou always have such great skin care results with Murad, Kim. I really want to try their products some day. It's not available in my country.
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to try Mira's but just haven't got round to it. It's not a brand I find easily in the UK. The serum sounds good, hope I can try some of their skincare soon. Thanks for the great reviews xx
ReplyDeleteThe product for the neck has certainly caught my eye, as I'm trying to pay more attention to that neglected area now. Great review Kim, I've always had a pretty high opinion of Murad products!
