IT Cosmetics Superhero Liner Review and Swatches

Sponsored: The last IT Cosmetics product I have for review, is their Superhero Liner ($24). You may remember, I wasn't that impressed with their Superhero Mascara. However, I really like their eye liner! The tip is not a felt tip! It's hairs (and thank God the hairs stay in place to make clean lines). IT Cosmetics describes them as Heavenly Skin™ brush hair tips. They're really smooth. They glide and feel good to the skin. I like how you can make different size lines with them; from very thin to thicker ones. It releases just enough product that you don't have to go over things twice. This gel eyeliner is dark black (described as super black; it's not offered in any other colors). It's really good. This eyeliner is also 24 hours waterproof! I found it dried super fast. I rubbed and rubbed and it didn't budge. It definitely stays in place. To prove the staying power of this eyeliner, I used both the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Makeup 3-in-1 Cleansing Balm and Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm to remove this eyeliner and BOTH took THREE applications to fully remove this. LOL So this eyeliner is pretty tough!

  1. Glad that you are loving this! I barley ever wear liquid liner on my top lash line anymore but when I do its the Kat Von D Tattoo liner which is also hair/brush type.

  2. I'd love to give this liner a go! Recently I've found that I'm really dissatisfied with the liner I've been using for years and am looking to branch out and try something new - this could be just what I'm looking for! The different thickness options are definitely something I'd like to have.

  4. Surprisingly, I haven't worn liner in literally months. This one I might have to try though!

  5. Oh wow! I'm impressed by it's staying power, but a little apprehensive too as I'm terrible at applying eyeliner, I think I've only done it 4 or 5 times, ha! So this would not be a good beginner product as you would have trouble undoing any mess!

Hope you are having a lovely week! I'm surprised it's December already, but excited too, we are going to put up our Christmas tree this weekend.

  7. I really prefer a felt tip for liquid eyeliner, but you endorsed this one so strongly that I wouldn't hesitate to try it - I do love how easily it seems to create different widths and strokes!

  9. Wow Kim the application and wear on this eyeliner sounds incredible! I need to add this one to my wish list for sure. I'm into liquid liner again after taking a break from my cake liner.

  14. This sounds nice Kim!! I haven’t used many liners that has hair brushes, instead of the felt tip! I’ll have to put this on my to try list for when I want a new liner!! I also like that it dries fast! And that you don’t have to dip it back in the tube. I get annoyed when I have to do that with my liners lol!

  15. My current eyeliner has a hair brush too .. and I have to admit that it took me time to get use to it but afterwards it's a dream. Glad to see the IT liner also delivers :)

  17. The tip is great for an intense black line. The colour looks bold and like it will last a really long time.
