Arctic Zero Fit Frozen Desserts Chunky & Creamy Pints

It's been over 90F (32C) here in New Orleans, Louisiana. So when asked, if I would like to try Arctic Zero's Fit Frozen Dessert Chunky And Creamy Pints, I happily said YES! I love the art work on the Arctic Zero packaging. It describes exactly what flavor is in each pint and gives you calories per pint & serving. Arctic Zero Fit Frozen Desserts are Lactose Free, Certified Gluten Free, GMO Free, Low Glycemic, Nut Free, Kosher, Vegetarian and Fat Free. Now, that's healthy! So my first question was, what about taste? I had various opinions on each flavor. You can read my thoughts below.

Sweet-Bittersweet-NotSweet
supersweet(run & buy it) sweet(really good,buy it) bittersweet(ok, issues)not sweet(not good,don't buy this stuff)

A Lil' Bit Chippy - Bittersweet -  is described as a smooth vanilla with bits of rich chocolate chips. Arctic Zero's vanilla is not like vanilla your palate is use to. It's almost tasteless. Think of Vitamin D Milk vs. Skim Milk. This is more like skim milk with mini chocolate chips. It's cool. It's refreshing. The chocolate chips are good and taste like such. But if you're expecting a true vanilla or sweet taste, this is not. This was just ok to me.
Cookie Dough Chip - Supersweet -is described as chunks of cookie dough & chocolate chips in vanilla. If you're looking for something sweeter in taste, buy Cookie Dough Chip! I think what makes this so good are the bits of cookie dough and chocolate chips in the product. SO GOOD! I really like it and know you will to.
Buttery Pecan - Sweet - is described as decadent maple with bits of candied pecan. This is another delicious flavor. This is NOT HEAVY, like your usual butter pecan ice cream. You CAN taste the maple. The candied pecans are fresh, chunky & crunchy. This flavor gives you a touch of sweetness to enjoy.

Cool Mint Chip - Sweet - is described as dark chocolate chips sprinkled in refreshing mint. I'm personally not a fan of chocolate & mint together. But this is delightful! It's not overly minty or chocolatey. It's a really light mint taste with miniature dark chocolate chips. Very light & refreshing.

Orange Dream - Bittersweet - is described as a classic take on orange and sweet cream. This is on the order of orange sherbert, but without the sweet taste (think Italian ice). Again, very light!

Key Lime Pie- Not Sweet - is described as tart key lime with graham cracker crumble. Well, they definitely have that right. Now, I super LOVE key lime pie! But I have a love/hate with this. I LOVE the bits of graham cracker crumble in this flavor. I HATE the key lime portion! It's wayyy too tart for my palate.

The bottom line is Arctic Zero's products are not sweet or sugary in taste. They're healthy! They're suppose to satisfy your sweet tooth, but many of the flavors fell short with me and I don't eat a lot of sweets to begin with. I was sent 6 pints, but they have an array of flavors to choose from. They also carry chocolate dipped bars. These can be purchased ($4-5) at natural and traditional grocers nationwide, including Kroger, Publix, Safeway, Sprouts Farmers Market, Walmart and Whole Foods Market, as well as online at Amazon.com and arcticzero.com. They can be found on the following social media: Facebook (ARCTIC ZERO), Twitter (MYARCTICZERO), Instagram (ARCTICZERO), and Pinterest (ARCTICZERO).

Community Coffee Military Match

This week is sponsor week! Several brands sent me products to review. Check out my Periscope (averysweetblog) for a preview! Add me on Snapchat (averysweetblog) for glimpses of purchases and upcoming products! I was sent Community Coffee's Medium Roast Breakfast Blend & Vanilla Creme Brulee. Community Coffee holds a special place in my heart, because it's local (Louisiana) and my grandfather loved it (reviewed here). Their Breakfast Blend tastes SO good, and now I am hooked on their Vanilla Creme Brulee. So tasty & delicious. The aroma alone tempts your senses. Community makes excellent coffee. I'm happy to support this local business. The 4th of July is coming up! They asked me to mention their Military Match program, which sends coffee to the U.S. Military (my uncle was in the Air Force). Details on the program are below. Not only is this a sweet gesture (on both your part & Community Coffee), but it's very much appreciated by military personnel (who only get basic things). I love that Community Coffee has this program. They also have a Summer Giveaway, where you can win a trip to New Orleans! So check out their page and order some coffee! It's absolutely delicious! The winner of the Aveeno Giveaway (4 product prize pack) is Emily Chan (Canada)! Congratulations Emily! I sent you an email. Enjoy!

Patisserie De Bain Sweet As Cherry Pie

Cherry Pie? Yes, Oh My! It's really weird, because I won't eat cherry pie, but I love cherries. HaHaHa But I do love the look of cherry pie! And I loved the look of Rose & Co.'s (UK) Cherry Pie Hand Cream under their Patisserie De Bain collection. Again, their hand creams are offered in both jar and tube. The picnic blanket, cherry themed packaging with blue & red trim was SO cute, I couldn't decide which one to get, so I purchased both. I love collecting cute packaging and knew this had to be part of my collection. It's formula to me is PURE BLACK CHERRY goodness! The website says red cherry & vanilla, but I say black cherry! The scent is SO AUTHENTIC! I've had cherry sodas and ice cream, but never a lotion! I think this scent is brilliant (genius in fact) and can see why it won awards in 2014. RUNNNNN and buy it. You will love it. Both the tube and jar were very moisturizing. This scent is fruity, sweet and delicious! So VERY cherry!

Rose & Co. No. 84 Hand Cream & Rose Petal Lip Salve

Do you like the scent of rose petals? Do you like baby powder? Then you will love the Rose & Co products I'm reviewing today. Rose scented products can be funny. Some are too strong. Some can smell artificial. Some are just right. I'm not a big fan of rose scented products (because I've come across so many bad ones), but I wanted to try some from Rose & Company (UK). If anyone should be able to get ROSE right, the British should? Huh? British Rose! I bet they're saying, that damn American beauty blogger. HaHaHa >.< So I purchased a few rose scented products from both their No. 84 and Rose Petal Collection. They also have a Dr. Rose Collection (looks interesting). My thoughts are below.

Rose & Co. No 84 Hand Cream Tube and Jar - Sweet

Again, you have a choice of this hand cream in either a tube or jar (as explained in yesterday's post). The No. 84 scent is fresh, clean, soft and airy! It reminds me of two things: rose petals and baby powder. Those two scents definitely stood out. Both of these (jar and tube) turned out really good. They're creamy, smell good and feel good to the skin. You'll smell fresh the entire day. They are very light when it comes to moisture. If you need more moisture for your dry skin, you will not find it in this (unless you keep reapplying). Other than that, I have no complaints. It's a nice, soft, pleasant scent. The website does mention these hand creams have Vitamin E, Shea Butter and their Signature Scent No, 84 (which is a modern-rose composition with elements of tea, violet, jasmine & iris enriched with powdery cedar, amber & elegant musk). They sent me these cute (kitty, fan, purse) miniature handmade soaps with my order. I thought that was a very nice touch.

Rose & Co. Rose Petal Salve - Sweet

It's interesting having a rose-scented product on your lips. I'm so use to only using it on my body. But this didn't bother me. The scent is very soft and gives off pretty much the same aroma as No. 84 (rose petals & powder). This lip gloss comes in a tube that can be squeezed. It has an angled tip applicator that I love. The feeling once applied to the lips is more petroleum jelly (but scented). There's no taste. This lip gloss lasted about 2-3 hours on my lips. It's very moisturizing and it's a little heavier (think petroleum jelly) than other lip glosses. This also comes in a cute tin. Really interesting! Rose & Co.'s website mentions you can use this on lips, cuticles, rough dry skin (think elbows) etc. I never thought of that! :/ (so interesting). You learn something new everyday!

Tomorrow! My FAVORITE product from their site! Stay tuned...

Patisserie De Bain Strawberry Cupcake Review

This week, I'll be reviewing some beauty products I purchased from Rose & Company Apothecary (UK). Their products caught my eye a couple of years ago on social media and I couldn't wait to place an order. I loved the way they combined beauty with vintage & dessert themes, and their packaging has to be the cutest I've ever seen. Today, I'll be reviewing their Strawberry Cupcake Collection from their new Patisserie De Bain line of products.

Strawberry Cupcake Lip Balm - Supersweet

I really love this lip balm! The color of it is gorgeous! The beautiful red, screams JUICY STRAWBERRIES! This lip balm will tint your lips the same color, but there is no taste to it. It's very creamy and extremely moisturizing! It lasted a good 4-6 hours on my lips. It has a subtle strawberry scent to it. Nothing overwhelming. The tin that it comes in is lovely. Use a lip applicator to apply this lip balm to your lips. This lip balm also comes in a tube, for anyone that doesn't want to deal with a tin. I love that Rose & Co gives you options. I collect cute packaging, that's why I wanted the tin.

Strawberry Cupcake Hand Cream TUBE and JAR - Bittersweet

Let's first talk packaging. This hand cream can be purchased in a TUBE or JAR. A tube is great if you want to drop it in your purse, leave it in your office drawer or use for travel! The jar is really cute if you want to display it on a vanity. So the packaging you choose, depends on how and where you plan on using it. From the website, the formula (ingredients) seem to be the same for both. However, the hand cream in the jar seemed FRESHER and had a slightly stronger scent than the hand cream in the tube. The hand cream in the jar also seemed to be more moisturizing. This baffled me, because I have another scent of theirs in a tube and it smells & feels just fine. So, I'm not sure what happened. Both (jar & tube) have a delicate strawberry scent, but what I didn't particularly care for was the formula. It applies creamy, lightly moisturizes, but my hands felt clammy or like there was a residue on them after applying it. I didn't like that feeling. So, I was disappointed with these two things. You'll see what I loved further down.

Strawberry Cupcake Fine English Soap - Bittersweet

Doesn't the strawberry shortcake on the box look scrumptious? If I could just have a bite! HaHaHa Oh, I digress! I love the box. I love the beautiful inscription on the soap. This soap has a delicate scent of freshly picked strawberries. It's a really nice size, but I would use it more as a hand soap than a body soap. It doesn't provide a lot of moisture. It's not as drying as regular soap, but I don't see the benefits of using it as a body cleanser or moisturizer.

Strawberry Cupcake Body Cream - Supersweet

Love! Love! Love! This body cream is rich yummy goodness for your skin! I LOVE IT! The lip balm and this body cream had THE BEST strawberry scent out of all the products I tried. Both smelled like fresh picked strawberries! The texture of this body cream reminded me of a mousse or souffle. Very whipped! Very light! But oh so moisturizing! You can feel it sinking in your skin. My skin felt so soft after using this. I highly recommend you purchase this. Loved it. Those are my thoughts for this collection!

Keep Calm And Have A Cupcake

Ashley of Ashley Sue Makeup, recently sent me a parcel filled with the cutest gifts. I had to share them with you today. It contained a pink 'Keep Calm and Have A Cupcake' hardcover notebook. I love it! Ashley doesn't know, but I purchased The Little Pink Book of Addresses a long time ago and this notebook makes for the perfect companion. So I was tickled pink. To go along with the notebook, she sent me three ink pens that write in light pink, dark pink and lime. I also love the little hearts on each cap. She gave me a cute pink macaron that's filled with lip gloss. It's adorable. Also a mirror compact that has cute cake slices with frosting & sprinkles on them. I really LOVE this compact, because all my other ones have MAC...some brand name....Archie's Girls or Rocky Horror on them! LOL I needed something like this for my purse. So Thanks Ashley! And to top it off, she sent me Urban Decay's new Afterglow powder blush in Fetish (which she reviewed here) and Maybelline lipstick in Pink Me Up & Ravishing Rose. Love them ALL and THANK YOU! Ashley blogs about beauty, fashion & lifestyle. She's a really sweet, down-to-earth girl, that I'm happy to call a friend. You'll love her, her blog and honest reviews. Ashley was one of my blog buddies I chose to participate in a Benefit contest earlier this year (our group won...read here). Stop by her blog and subscribe :) On another sweet note, one of my bloglovin' readers and periscope followers (Anne Marie of OhHeyAM) wrote the most touching blog post about me! Thank You Anne Marie! You can read what she said here. Have a great week everybody! >.<
