My Not So Pink or Red Valentine Gift Guide

Here's another Valentine Day Gift Guide! Are you guys tired of them yet? I couldn't resist. As I was putting this Valentine's Day Gift Guide together, I looked for items that were not so pink, red or valentine-ish. I loved these softer colors (blush pink colors), but couldn't resist Dior's pretty pink nail lacquer and the Crosley turntable (so cool...i think!). Oh well, hope you enjoy! I'll be around to visit your blogs and catch up on your posts later today. Life has been overwhelming lately (but nothing bad)! Have a great day!

Urban Decay Primer, Foundation, Concealer, Powder and Flushed Review + Swatches + Giveaway

Every time I would start to review Urban Decay's products, they would come out with something new. LOL So here are my thoughts on what I've purchased so far (and of course, a giveaway).

Seven (7) Urban Decay Products

Before I show each product. I always like to show my face with no makeup on. Of course I get a break out on my cheek before doing this! LOL No makeup, raw iPhone pics and only Fresh rose lip balm on my lips. Let's get started...You guys know my grading scale! Remember to use Ebates!

Sweet-Bittersweet-NotSweet
supersweet(run & buy it) sweet(really good,buy it) bittersweet(ok, issues)not sweet(not good,don't buy this stuff)

UD Eye Shadow Primer (Supersweet) and UD Face Primer (Bittersweet)

Both primers are tinted like Benefit's Porefessional (and pretty much work the same in my opinion). As you can see, the face primer lightened my complexion, created a matte finish (got rid of the shine) and also toned down the redness in my face. I really liked the affect it had on my complexion. The only thing is the face primer is a little heavy. So I still prefer my Smashbox Face Primer. Let me also suggest, that you don't use a lot of this primer, because when it comes time to blend your foundation etc., it has a tendency to clump as you layer on other products. I love UD's eye shadow primer! It definitely keeps eyeshadow in place.

UD Naked Skin Liquid Makeup 6.0 (Sweet) and

UD Naked Skin Concealer Medium Neutral (Supersweet)

Don't I look better? LOL  This is the foundation (gosh I look better since 2012 HaHaHa) I used prior to trying MAC (I like the way MAC looks on me, but not how it feels...will have to try another MAC formula)! This is shade 6.0 of UD. What I like about this foundation is that it's lightweight, yet provides so much coverage. Urban Decay's concealer is NEW! I just got it and OH MY COOKIES, CAKES & MUFFINS is it AWESOME! I put the concealer on my cheeks, under my eyes, chin and that big ass zit! I was using Benefit's BOING before, but this bad boy has slightly edged it out I think. This concealer is more natural. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS! You have GOT TO TRY this concealer! Next Picture!

UD Ultra Definition Pressed Finishing Powder in Naked Medium (Supersweet)

I love to set my makeup with powder, so I decided to try Urban Decay's Naked Skin Ultra Definition Pressed Finishing Powder. It's awesome! I was using loose powder prior to using this, but this did a great job polishing off my look. The only thing you won't like is the compact (smudge city and kind of flimsy). Also, throw away the sponge and use a powder brush. The sponge has a tendency to "move" your makeup. Works much better with a brush. Again, formula is super great. Packaging is :P The formula is SO GOOD, I can forgive the packaging. HaHaHa

UD Ultra Definition Powder Foundation in Medium Warm (Sweet)

This is NEW by UD and I mistakenly went UP one shade! HaHaHa That's why my face looks browner. I just gave this to my mom, who is slightly darker than me. Urban Decay does have a SKIN SHADE CALLIBRATOR. Either look for your Liquid Makeup Shade (mine is 6.0) or pick a girl who's complexion is close to yours. After that, GO WITH WHAT THEY SUGGEST! HaHaHa If I would've...then I would've known to pick Medium Light Warm instead of Medium Warm. The casualties of BEAUTY! What would Lady Mary say? "The World Moves On and We Must Move With It!" LOL But anyway, this foundation is nice. It was shocking because this didn't give me the same coverage the liquid foundation did and it's very lightweight. I still love it. Would be perfect for Summer. You'll just have to swipe a little more to achieve full coverage, but not that much more.

Urban Decay Naked Flush in Streak (Supersweet)

And here's what I'm giving away! I super love this product! It's bronzer, highlighter and blush in one compact! This will give your face, cheeks and/or nose a beautiful glow. I swirled them all together and put it on my cheeks and nose. It is L-O-V-E-L-Y! This giveaway is open worldwide and anywhere USPS will ship. LOL I'm not responsible for any adverse health reactions, makeup meltdowns, or other casualties for using this product. Good Luck! Hope these pics helped. I put them in rows of 3 so you could see how my look progressed after using each product.
