Etude House: I Need You Yogurt! Wash Off Pack Review

Yogurt & fruit masks for your face! Yes please! It sounded delightful enough to me. I have dry, sensitive skin. I couldn't wait to try Etude House's, "I Need You Yogurt! Wash Off Pack" Well you guys, after testing this product, it should be called "I DON'T Need You Yogurt!" HaHaHa Here's my review.

"I Need You Yogurt" Wash Off Pack contains 4 individual packets: apricot (remove dead skin cells), strawberry (skin brightening), apple (skin moisturizing), kiwi (skin rejuvenating). The only one I liked was apple. The others? Well, just read the CONS below. There's enough product in each packet to use twice. However, once you open the package there's no way to reseal it. Plus bacteria can set in if left open. Another option is to refrigerate this product. My advice to you is, it's not worth buying. It's super cheap! I purchased this for $3.50 on Sasa.com. Sometimes you get what you pay for, but I was CURIOUS! HaHaHa After trying all of them, my skin felt DRIER. The problem I have with this product, is the packaging and that it doesn't work (at least not for my skin type). Below is my rating scale.

Sweet-Bittersweet-NotSweet
supersweet(run & buy it) sweet(really good,buy it) bittersweet(ok, issues) not sweet(not good,don't buy this stuff)

I think I'll just buy some regular yogurt and put on my skin >.<
Happy Tuesday!

  3. lol. yes. I'll buy some yogurt and put it on my face too. I mean, I already put avocado, oatmeal and coffee on my face anyway.

  4. Actually, regular yoghurt, the natural full fat one, of course, is probably a much better option. It's been used in Russia forever and is still one of my DIY beauty treatments. :) You can add mashed fruit or herbs such as parsley, egg yolks or honey as extras depending on your skin type.

  5. What a shame for so many of them to be terrible. They sound cool and all, but if they don't work, they need to go back to the drawing board on this one!! Shame!!

Am always here should you need :))) Lots of love & hugs to you too!!! <3

  7. Hi Kim! You're a real trooper trying out all of these Etude masks to tell us about them. Like you said, I can see the packaging is a bit of a pain in that you can't reseal it, so half the product is wasted. I'm glad the apple one turned out good at least. Thanks for sharing!

  9. Glad there was one good apple in the bunch at least - haha! Is it sad that I laughed at my own joke? :P

Thanks for your kind comment - I thought purple and leopard was kinda uninteresting as last time I wore the leopard top I wore it with burgundy coloured jeans and I was just following that with a different colour, I'm pleased everyone liked it so much. I should wear more purple! :)

  10. Hi Kim! Before reading your reviews I was thinking "yummy, this stuff inspires me"! But then I was so disappointed, the packaging got me wrong indeed. The only one I would be curious to try is the apple flavor as it is the one you liked best!:) Lol next time better real yogurts for sure!:) Have a great day my dear, kisses! xo

  13. Awwww.. that's too bad. I love their names too. Maybe you can try one of those sheet masks thingy. Those worked for me.

  14. That is disappointing that none of them worked well! I'd probably want to eat a yogurt after using them, haha. :)

  18. I have never heard of this yogurt brand before, or even knew you could put yogurt on your face as a mask!

I may try looking up some recipes on Pinterest for some DIY versions! :)

  19. It's cute how the packaging mimics real yogurt packaging so it's a shame these weren't that all great. Any mask that makes your skin feel drier after use is definitely not a keeper. Thanks for trying them out ans sharing your opinions with us Kim!

  21. How unfortunate that this didn't work so well. I've done a DIY yogurt mask before and it's easy! I should try to create a few more recipes soon!

  29. I can understand the temptation with such an amazing packaging.... how terrible that none of these turned out to deliver what they originally offer to do and what's even worst... your skin felt drier :(

  30. Great review. I would buy this in a heart beat if I didn't read your review. The packaging is so cute....but as you mention, not quite practical if amount is enough for 2 times, what a waste. :P Do they sell the apple ones individually in different packaging? That might works out better. Or as you said, buy some real yogurt and put on your face! LOL

  31. The packaging is really cute, it's too bad the product wasn't that good. Thanks so much for the well wishes, Kim :) I hope you're having a great week!

  35. Such a shame since it's always so nice to find a cheap product that is well worth it's tiny price tag. I guess that's not always possible though, at least you know for next time! Have you tried using just plain yoghurt by itself? You just pop it on your face and leave for 10-15 mins, it definitely works and is a lot cheaper then most other masks around! :)

  41. I never did the juicing bit myself because I live in an area where stores like Whole Foods are the norm. I also live near a town where you can sit at a juice bar and get anything you want. I've been a fan of green drinks for years and it's one good way to really stay healthy!

  42. The packaging is super duper cute Kim. Too bad they are not that great. Go buy a plain greek yogurt, mix it up with some honey and save yourself money and disappointment girl. It instantly brightens up and hydrates your face. I try to do this twice a week, works wonder.

  45. My skin is so sensitive to anything with milk or milk products and I tend to break out really quickly afterwards :( I think the first indicative "no" for these products is the packaging. just bleh.

  49. Haha "I think I'll just buy some regular yogurt and put on my skin" That's hilarious. It might even feel better because it has milk and enzyme degrading bacteria that will chew off the dead skin. The other day I mixed some avacado with some honey, slathered that on my face and that was my facemask.. and it was great!!!
    Then I ate it!

    just kidding just kidding

And I occasionally put it on my hair, have you tried?

  55. I recently purchased this online couple days ago and used the whole apricot one after a shower & skin toner. I left it on for 15 mins and was very simple to wash off and i must say my skin feels amazing at the moment its very moist and so soft. I guess everyone is different. :)

  56. Just looking through your archive and found this. I tried to pick bits I didn't think you would have tried but you beat me to the punch! Sorry I sent you Not Sweet products - I had no idea what to go for because I don't know your skin type and tone so it had to be something relatively general and I thought this little yoghurt pack looked cool. Looks like looks are deceiving, eh? Sozzles from Rozzles, Kim! Rosemary x
