Sephora + Pantone Universe Pure Marsala Matte Lip Creme

Do you own or have you purchased anything in the color Marsala (the pantone color for 2015)? The only color that comes close to it in my closet is burgundy/maroon! HaHaHa And I have to add leopard flats and a belt to liven up those colors. I did purchase this Marsala lipstick from Sephora. Can you believe it sold out? A Sephora brand! Somebody is selling it on eBay for over $50! That's crazy! Who do they think they are, Tom Ford? HaHaHa I can't even imagine wearing this color for Summer. HaHaHa

  1. I think I have a few lipsticks but I'm not mad on this colour on me. I have a burgundy dress I always wear with a leopard print belt! Great minds :)

  7. Oh my gosh. Marsala is so the color of this year. My friend is having a Marsala wedding. Their theme is all this color with greens and pinks. I think she might like this lipstick.

I really do love this colour, much more than last year's Pantone. Unfortunately, I don't have anything Marsala...yet....

  13. That's a pretty color on you, but I just can't see myself pulling off marsala! I'm kinda wanting to pass on this trend for myself. $50 for a Sephora brand lipstick my left foot.... sheesh.

  14. Two years ago I attended a fashion event in Paris where they predicted the colours of the year for 2015. And marsala was nowhere to be found! I was so surprised when it was announced this year, I was expecting a pale pink or gray - so to be honest, I was a little disappointed, too. This lip colour is pretty, but you're right, it isn't summery at all. And I'm shocked that it sold out!

  15. OMG! I love that color, and it goes great with your skin tone! I usually stick to dark browns and burgundy when I buy lipstick, so I've never ventured too much into reds, but this is a nice color.

  22. I think that shade looks really lovely on you, Kim! It's a little more muted compare to other lipstick shades that I've seen on you but it still looks lovely on you. I've not tried/own anything in this shade (yet!) but knowing myself, it won't be long till I get one or two or ten of it. ;-)

  27. No, not yet. Actually I'm not too crazy about this colour. It seems like a really hard colour to pull off, but you look very good in it Kim! I think it matches your dress and you're wearing jewelry. YEAH!! See it instantly spice up any outfit. And those leopard prints matched perfectly with the wine dress. :))

  28. That is a lovely colour on you Kim, and the perfect accessory with yoru dress! :)

I'm sure burgundy/oxblood/marsala items can all be worn interchangeably anyway, haha. I know I'd have trouble telling the difference, they are all burgundy too me ;) leopard print looks great with your dress too! :) You're looking wonderful!

  35. This colour really suits you Kim but it's not a colour I would wear. I just feel that it makes me look pale and tired!! Yet I so often admire it on others. I wish there was a Sephora near me (though I would spend a fortune!) I tend to stock up whenever I find one.
    Have a great weekend!
