Not Sponsored: Hey Everybody! I purchased some products from the indie brand The Cottage Greenhouse (reviewing indie brands is one of my 2019 goals). This brand caught my eye and attention, the end of last year. Despite not knowing anything about The Cottage Greenhouse, the brand seemed oddly familiar to me. When I clicked on their website, I found out The Cottage Greenhouse is the newest division under Margot Elena Brands (which consists of Library of Flowers, Love & Toast, Tokyo Milk and Lollia). Wish by Lollia is my ABSOLUTE favorite perfume! Reviewed here and here. I've also reviewed an array of scrumptious-looking products from Tokyo Milk (Let Them Eat Cake here and here). For the rest of this week, I will be doing a mini-series of reviews covering The Cottage Greenhouse products I purchased. To give you some background, The Cottage Greenhouse is a fresh new spa collection to energize your body, mind and soul! They use 98% natural ingredients. The Cottage Greenhouse was "created to inspire, that same desire (add beauty and meaning to others’ lives) so that the package and formulation itself evokes a sense of delight and adds a thoughtful richness to the ritual of self care. Let's start today with their Orange Blossom & Honey Mask. Lets talk packaging! The artwork on the box is so beautiful! I love the flowers, bees and oranges still attached to their stems. It all looks so natural. This mask is formulated for Combination & Dry Skin Types. I honestly feel this will also work for Normal Skin Types. Its recommended you use this mask twice a week. The goal of the mask is to nourish, restore & replenish. This mask is so good! The scent is natural & soft. I can detect a hint of both orange & honey. This mask contains blueberry seeds (lifts away residual surface oils and impurities to restore your complexion to it’s natural baby-soft disposition). Pomegranate, Ginseng & Orange Peel contained within the mask are mild cleansing astringents. The nourishing Honey acts as Nature’s re-hydrating humectant, attracting moisture to leave your skin cleansed, smooth and replenished. The mask looks thick, but it scoops out easily from the jar. I applied it to my face. It easily spread. I covered all areas of my face. As it dries down, it tightens a bit (nothing uncomfortable). I enjoyed the scent so, that I sat with this mask for 20 minutes (the recommended time was 10-15 minutes). With tightening, I always worry about my skin drying out (because not only do I have super dry skin, but I also have sensitive/reactive skin). That was so NOT THE CASE with this mask! This mask adheres to the face, but easily washes off. Again, sometimes when you wash off a mask the moisture also goes! NOT THE CASE with this mask. My skin felt nourished, moisturized and soft after using this product. I can definitely see me using this mask twice a week with no problem. My skin also had a glow afterwards. This mask is gentle, but very powerful and effective. I was really pleased. I've tried a lot of face masks, and usually I love them or hate them. This is definitely one I love and recommend. Its definitely one to try! The Cottage Greenhouse also has a charcoal & lemongrass mask (deep clean) and papaya & honeysuckle mask (hydrate & glow).
