Lancome Lait Galatee Confort Makeup Remover Milk Review

Disclosure: I was sent Lancome's 2023 Advent Calendar for review in October. There were some products in the calendar, that I've never tried. I've been reviewing these products since October. All opinions in this blog post are 100% my own and honest. This post contains affiliate links. I get commission for purchases made through the links in this post.

PR Sample: I remove my makeup from my face every night. It's just a really good practice. It truly helps your skin. So I was excited to see that Lancome included their Lait Galatee Confort Milk Makeup Remover in their 2023 Advent Calendar. Doesn't the word MILK sound soothing and comforting? I couldn't wait to try it.

Lancome states, "Smooth and gentle, this emollient-rich, milky cream cleanser gently melts away makeup and impurities. The instantly comforting formula contains Honey and Sweet Almond Extracts to condition and pamper skin, leaving it feeling clean, silky-soft and soothed. Rinse or tissue off. This milky cream cleanser gently melts away makeup and impurities. Made with Honey and Sweet Almond Extracts, the instantly comforting formula leaves skin feeling soft, supple, clean and comforted."

Now, let me share my thoughts. This is an EXCELLENT makeup remover! It's creamy and white. When you apply it to your skin it instantly begins to melt the makeup without irritating your skin (I have dry, sensitive and reactive skin). It washes away cleanly and thoroughly. I used warm water and wet a wash cloth to remove my makeup. My skin looked clean and didn't feel stripped. Now, there's a slight but. This makeup remover is great for anyone that doesn't wear heavy eye makeup. If you wear heavy eye makeup, it can be irritating to the eyes. I noticed Lancome makes an eye makeup remover, so you will probably have to purchase that along with this if that is your case. If you just wear basic makeup, then this will work for you. It will get everything off. So I just wanted to point that out to you. I still love my Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm (Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue). I can use it on my face and eyes as much as I want. But this would definitely be my #2 favorite makeup remover, if I didn't have the Clinique.
