Day 3 - Milan Fashion Week S/S 2014

Classic designs and clean lines sum up Day 3 of Milan Fashion Week. Black, white, blushes and nudes seemed to trend throughout the day. Sprinkles of red, blue, green & yellow popped-up in many collections. My favorites are below. I think my overall personal favorites were Sportsmax, Emporio Armani and Tods. Antonio Marra's designs looked like beautiful pieces of art (although hard to wear in real life). I loved the head pieces the models wore and the mini string quartet that played in the background was truly elegant. I literally want to cry every time I see the Versace collection. I remember the late Gianni Versace (God bless his soul! They just sold his Miami mansion and it will be turned into a hotel) and his exquisite collections. They were nothing like what his sister is putting out. I just want to tell her to STOP!

Sportsmax

Blumarine

 Antonio Marras

Emporio Armani

Tods

Aigner

Les Copains

Versace
Her collections always make me want to CRY! Oh Gianni, how I miss you.
I think these were the only 2 styles I kind of liked and now looking at them...well. LOL :P

  3. Such a muted colour pallette here, but lots of nice prints :) That second sportsmax dress....is that a print or mesh?! I'm hoping it's a print that just looks like you can see the model underneath, haha. I don't wanna look too closely.....

  10. Hi Kim! In this recap my fav collection is definitely Blumarine, I always like this brand for the feminine and simply sophisticated lines. Also Marras, Tods, Emporio Armani, Aigner and Les Copains collections are fab. Regarding Versace, I cannot agree more with you: though there are always some looks which I like, in general the brand seems to not have to do with the Gianni designs and mood..dont know his mansion will be a hotel! Have a great weekend dear, kisses! xo

  15. Versace really hasn't been the same since Gianni's departure, may he rest in peace - I don't even watch the shows anymore, it's too tragic :(
