9 Lifetime Christmas Movies To Watch

Not Sponsored: I just did a post on what 6 Hallmark Christmas Movies To Watch. So it wouldn't be fair to leave out my favorite Lifetime Christmas movies ;) I found Lifetime's Christmas movies to be more DIVERSE and INCLUSIVE. I loved that there were caucasian, african-american and hispanic nationalities included. I hope that they incorporate more asian and other ethnicities in the future. I also felt the stories overall were better written and executed than Hallmark's. Again you get inspirational Christmas decorations, music, desserts and attire. You also get some pretty nice solutions to both large and small "problems". I could watch these movies over and over again every Christmas. Enjoy!

A Sweet Christmas Romance

When food stylist Holly (Adelaide Kane) returns home for Christmas, she learns that Loretta (Loretta Devine), the elderly owner of her favorite childhood bakery, is retiring and has started a contest to give the bakery away to whoever can recreate her famous 12 Days of Christmas recipes. When a local baker named Brad (Greyston Holt) also enters the contest, the two adversaries end up cooking up something special together for the holidays.

A Twist of Christmas

As a result, both of their Christmases appear to be ruined. Although the two can’t stand each other, the only way to get things back on track is to help each other salvage their holiday plans – not realizing they’re falling for each other in the process. “A Twist of Christmas” is produced by Lighthouse Pictures. When Matthew (Andrew Walker), a charming real estate developer, tries to buy the town for a corporate ski resort, Allison and the townspeople must work together to prevent that from happening. And just when the Bennet ladies seem out of luck, an unexpected visitor—with a well-known sweet tooth for cookies and milk—comes to the bakery and may in fact be the key to solving everything. “A Christmas in Tennessee” is produced by Smokey Mountain Films Inc. and Juliette Hagopian. Howard Braunstein serves as executive producer. Gary Yates directs with a script written by Cassie Doyle.
