Natasha Denona My Mini Dream Eyeshadow Palette Review And Swatches

Not Sponsored: Hey Everybody! I have finally started buying and trying NEW makeup for 2024. My first purchase for this year, was a mini makeup collection by Natasha Denona. Yesterday, I reviewed her My Mini Dream Glow Blush palette. Loved that one! Today, I have her My Mini Dream eye shadow palette (Sephora, Kohls) up for review. I'm a huge Natasha Denona fan. I love her makeup! The ones I love, that are in my collection, are I Need A Nude eye shadow palette, Glam Face palette, Biba eye shadow palette, and Tan Bronze & Glow palette.

Natasha Denona's My Mini Dream Palette is a neutral, taupe eye shadow palette. One of the shades, nurture is from her My Dream Eye Shadow Palette. I kept going back and forth as to whether I should purchase My Dream, but decided against it because I felt it was too dark. Instead I purchased I Need A Nude. I love the shades in this My Mini Dream palette, BUT the two taupe shades, blend into my skin. If you scroll down to my picture, it looks like I'm not wearing anything. HaHaHa I've seen this on darker skin tones and it comes across ashy. I would have to do a lot of shading with the brown shade and heavily apply the metallic to my eyes to truly get an affect. I really love the look on the Asian model (in the picture below). That's what I mean about shading! The taupe colors blend into her skin as well. What you see on her eyes are the metallics and brown shade. If you want a dramatic look, get this palette. I wanted a more everyday look, so it doesn't really serve that purpose for me. All the shades blend well and are pigmented. But it all comes down to what kind of look you're going for. You're kind of limited with this palette. For everyday looks, I still love the Biba palette.
