When you feel your best, you can also give your best to others. In return, you get the best of them too. So here are some tips for self-care that can top up your cup and allow you to be the best version of you.

Snooze No More
Snoozing is a false economy. While you may believe you are getting 10 minutes extra rest every time you hit the button, you are snatching time away from your day. Not only that but the few times that you hit snooze, you are giving yourself broken sleep.

That disrupted sleep will actually make you feel more sleepy than you may realize. So instead of hitting the snooze button, resolve to hop out of bed and start your daily routine.

Multivitamin
If you don’t have the most balanced diet, then you might be suffering in ways you aren’t aware of. Your body needs certain vitamins and minerals to perform all of the functions properly. Most people are deficient in a range of vitamins, and most typically, these are vitamin D, b12, magnesium, and iron.

If you notice you have a lot of hair loss, are feeling tired often, or just not up to your usual standard of health, then you should do two things. First, head to your doctor for a chat and see if there is anything underlying, and the second is to invest in a great multivitamin.

Hair loss can play a vital role in our self-esteem and confidence and can even cause depression, whether male or female. There are many expensive ways to treat hair loss, but did you know that you can find a cheap and safe solution for men going bald? The key is to find the source of the problem first.

Rest
It would be best if you had a high-quality sleep. Rest is essential for our bodies to renew and recharge. If you are getting poor sleep, you will likely feel tired during the day and wake up feeling cranky and tired.

Take a look at your nighttime routine. Are you watching TV until the very last moment? Are you falling asleep on the couch and needing to move to bed after? Try to create a bedtime routine that fits with your lifestyle.

Ideally, you will start your bedtime routine a few hours before you want to go to bed. This gives your brain and body a chance to gentle move into relaxation mode.

Start your routine with a hot shower or bath, wear some comfortable clothing, and try to leave your mobile phone to the side. If you like to watch your favorite programs on Netflix before you go to bed, try NOT to watch them in bed.

Reading or listening to a sleep story is the perfect way to wind down well. A warm cup of caffeine-free tea and a bowl of oat can also aid your sleep.

Stress
We can often detect when our stress levels are rising. Some people suffer from headaches, fatigue, and feel more cranky. If you find that you are getting headaches, make sure you check the right Nurofen dosage and get some rest.

When we become more aware of where our stressors are, we can begin to tackle the sources. If it is because you have too much to do, it might be time to look at your routine and how you can break tasks down into smaller and more manageable chunks.

Say No
Stress and worry can often come from feeling like we have taken on too much. And, more often than not, even when you already have a lot to do, you’ll say yes to more. Reduce what you take on outside of what is essential.

Saying no is going to protect you from taking on too much and doing things that aren’t going to serve you in the long run. There is nothing wrong with helping people unless it is detrimental to you.

Write
If you feel like you need a creative outlet, it might be time to start writing. You can do this each morning or each evening. You can write about your day, you can write down what is worrying you, or you can make a list of things that you want to achieve in the next week. This is a great way to work through what is mentally weighing you down.

Head Outside
One of the quickest and most effective ways to lower stress and so something good for you is by going for a walk. No matter how busy you are, make time to put your boots on and go for a walk. It gives your brain time to relax and process things in the background, gives you a boost of vitamin D, reduces stress levels, and boosts your immune system.
