Marc Jacobs Kiss Pop Lip Color Stick In Wham: Review, Swatches & Giveaway

It looks like a crayon! It looks like a silver bullet! It looks like a rocket! It looks like Madonna's 80's pointy bra! HaHaHa The packaging for Marc Jacob's Kiss Pop Lip Color Sticks remind me of those ink blot personality tests. Have you ever taken one? What do YOU see? I see a little bit of everything, but I won't get too provocative! HaHaHa Twist it open and you have a "chubby stick" of color, that's beautifully pigmented and buildable. To wear, it does require exceptionally prepped (scrubbed & moisturized) lips, because if not it will expose fine lines and lead to a not-so-smooth application (it's not very forgiving). Let's talk color! It's described as a coral rose (and it looks it), but it looks different on everyone. As you'll see, it's very pink on me. So be sure to swatch it in-store. I LIKE Marc Jacobs Kiss Pops, but I LOVE Marc Jacobs Lip Gels even more. I still give this a sweet rating, plus the name (Wham) made me think of the 80's group Wham w/George Michael and led me to watch 80's & 90's YouTube videos for a couple of hours. HaHaHa So addictive, and one video leads to another & another, and then you're like..."OH MY...look at the time!" HaHaHa Enter the giveaway below (open worldwide), using the Rafflecopter widget and have a POPPIN' weekend! It's a holiday weekend here in the States, so I'll be back with a new post Tuesday and I'll announce the winner.

Milani Color Statement Lipsticks: Rose Hip (14), Sweet Nectar (01) and High Voltage (04) Review & Swatches

Disclaimer: This is a product review for Milani Cosmetics. I received (3) Milani Cosmetic Color Statement Lipsticks: Rose Hip (14), Sweet Nectar (01) and High Voltage (04) for review. All opinions are 100% my own. [Press Sample]

I mentally played the song 'WILD THING' in my mind, while taking these pictures and wearing Milani's Color Statement Lipsticks. HaHaHa!!! Each shade of lipstick is HIGHLY PIGMENTED, BOLD IN COLOR & SUPER FUN! These shades are not for the weak at heart. They're STATEMENT color-sticks for your lips. They're very moisturizing (Vitamins A, B and E) and have a beautiful sheen (without being too glossy or shiny). The lipstick also does a great job staying in place (on the lips). I think my favorites are High Voltage (red 04) and Sweet Nectar (orange 01).

Milani Color Statement Lipsticks come in 36 striking shades. There's definitely something for everyone. So check them out. They can be purchased at CVS stores for $4.99. Get the look at MilaniCosmetics.com. I'm really impressed with Milani Cosmetics. I've tried their blush and it was wonderful. All Milani products are cruelty-free and hold certifications from PETA. Yaaay! :)

Eat Cake For Breakfast

Hey everybody! I hope your weekend was bliss. I want to share a couple of items I purchased: a journal & pair of mugs from Kate Spade's Eat Cake For Breakfast Collection. The journal has a beautiful pink cover and the words 'eat cake for breakfast' in gold, gold foil dots (see gif below) line the inner cover of the journal, it also has beautiful ribbon dividers and lined pages (I'm glad the pages are lined, because I don't write well with unlined pages hahaha). The mugs are pink & white with 'eat cake for breakfast' written in navy. The mugs are large, but very lightweight. I purchased some fresh flowers from Fresh Market this weekend. Fresh flowers always make me smile and I thought these pink roses were so beautiful. And finally, what's life without a little cake!?! I picked up a small chocolate cake from the bakery and the flowers atop were literally icing-on-the-cake cute. Wishing you all a lovely week ahead! May it be topped with delicious frosting :)

Farmhouse Fresh Sundae Best Chocolate Softening Mask with CoQ10 Product Review

most chocolate masks look and feel like MUD, but not this one! this mask feels, looks and smells like chocolate! however it's NOT for anyone with sensitive or rosacea-prone skin (like me; i didn't read everything before i bought it (i just saw the word CHOCOLATE and hit BUY! hahaha)..my bad! LOL). it's farmhouse fresh's sundae best chocolate softening mask. it's super creamy and looks like chocolate pudding! it smells like chocolate (nothing artificial about it)! it applies and dries like chocolate frosting. this mask goes on cool and then dries. farmhouse fresh mentions there is a tingle and there is, but it's not alarming. it then seriously begins to tighten (like you can barely move your mouth, cheeks and eyebrows, but it doesn't hurt). you then sit, relax and inhale the chocolate aroma. once it dries, wash the mask off with cool water. this mask is packed with cocoa, honey and CoQ10! my face felt really good right afterwards and super-soft (but then...well read on). let me stress...this mask is very powerful! there's nothing kiddie about it. FHF warns, this IS NOT for individuals with sensitive skin or anyone that has rosacea-prone skin (as i mentioned above). i have both dry and sensitive skin. my cheeks and above my eyebrows were a little pink after using it, but my skin felt squeaky clean & soft. it wasn't until hours later i felt a little sensitivity (in those areas), but never any stinging, itchiness or rash. unfortunately, i can't use this anymore due to it's strength (my skin is fine after just one use, but several applications of this wouldn't be good for ME). i wish it was milder, but it's not. individuals with other skin types should be ok (but the strength of this bothers me, so for caution i'm only giving it a bittersweet rating). farmhouse fresh also has a pumpkin puree (splendid dirt) and yogurt, oat & honey mask (pajama paste) but they're not recommended for sensitive or rosacea prone skin either :(. so bottom line is, if you have the right skin type, this should be ok for you (use caution and only use it every 2-3 weeks). i just wish they had something for everybody. those are my thoughts! have a great weekend everybody!
