I purchased the body wash and body milk. I've been using both and let me tell you, these are a tropical shower treat for your body. Can't get away for a vacation? Just buy these. LOL 

Let me start with the Kopari Guava Hydrating Body Wash (Revolve, Nordstrom Rack). It's a gel-based body wash, that contains ingredients such as coconut water, aloe vera juice and sea kelp. It's infused with notes of guava sorbet, tropical mango, and subtle hints of sweet nectar. Using this body wash, will make your shower experience even more delightful. Expect to spend more time in there. I promise you. It lathers beautifully. It's creamy and feels ultra-nourishing on the skin. It rinses cleanly and your skin will feel hydrated & moisturized. Some other things to love is the packaging is 100% recyclable via Terracycle (I write about Terracycle here; you can request an envelope to your home). This body wash is vegan and cruelty-free. It's the perfect tropical skin treat for Summer.

Next, is the Kopari Guava Hydrating Body Milk (Revolve, Nordstrom Rack)! You want to buy both the body wash and body milk. The body milk is like the icing on the cake. It's good guys! It's REAL GOOD! This body milk is formulated with organic chamomile extract (contains anti-inflammatory properties to soothe skin, while soothing and conditioning skin), organic coconut oil (fatty acids, vitamin E, for deep moisture and protection), and shea butter (deeply moisturize, soothe and smooth skin). This body milk is really creamy and does a great job moisturizing the skin. It's not heavy either. But it's rich enough to really get the job done. The scent is heavenly. It has notes of guava sorbet, tropical mango, and subtle hints of sweet nectar. This is vegan and cruelty-free. It's also hypoallergenic. 

So, with both of these being awesome, I know the Guava Ultra Restore Body Butter is really good as well. Give them a try. I definitely approve.

Naturopathica Sweet Cherry Brightening Enzyme Peel Review

Not Sponsored: I've been reviewing products from skincare brand Naturopathica. I've tried products from their Chill Chocolate Vine, Marshmallow and Sweet Cherry Skincare Collections (all reviews are linked below). The last product I have for review for you today, is Naturopathica's Sweet Cherry Brightening Enzyme Peel (Terrain, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus). This brightening enzyme peel is part of the Sweet Cherry Reveal Set. This is an exfoliating peel that helps brighten, even skintone and smooth sun-damaged skin. This peel contains sweet cherry puree (rich in antioxidants and vitamins to help nourish the skin), lactic acid (at 5% concentration, our lactic acid solution helps lighten darkened areas for a brighter, more even skin tone) and bromelain (derived from pineapple, this enzyme is known to digest dead surface proteins for gentle, non-invasive smoothing). To me, this peel has a sour smell. It wasn't that appealing to me. You are to mist your face before application or apply in the shower for 3-5 minutes so the steam can activate the cherry enzymes. It spreads thinly on your face. You can see it on my skin in the picture below. After using this peel, my skin felt very dry. I already have super dry skin and this just made it feel drier. But usually brightening products and peels do not work for me. I will let you know what brands do work great for dry, sensitive and reactive skin in a minute. So, I would caution anyone with those issues about using this peel. I think this would work best on oily and combination skin types best. My skin didn't look any better afterwards, nor did it feel softer. For exfoliation, let me suggest Dr. Dennis Gross Ultra Gentle Daily Peel and Sunday Riley Good Genes. Naturopathica Sweet Cherry Conditioning Lip Butter Review

Now I'm reviewing their Sweet Cherry Collection (all reviews are linked below). Yesterday, I reviewed Naturopathica's Sweet Cherry Polishing Lip Scrub and today I would like to review Naturopathica's Sweet Cherry Conditioning Lip Butter, which you apply afterwards. This lip butter is part of the Sweet Cherry Reveal Set. The ingredients for this lip butter include sweet cherry seed oil (packed with vitamins and antioxidants to nourish and protect), pomegranate-jojoba complex (naturally plumps by aiding with moisture retention for continuous hydration), and moringa seed oil (a nutrient rich oil that helps promote elasticity). Naturopathica states this lip butter will "plump ... deeply condition ... and reveal softer & fuller lips." This lip butter has a very soft cherry scent and starts off as a solid. When applied to the lips it softens. As you can see from the picture of my lips below, it gives off a wet/glossy look. I don't particularly like this, because during the day if I want to wear lipstick, I can't while using this lip butter. If I want to wear a liquid lipstick, it will compete with this lip butter. You would have to wear this alone. So, I tried again using this lip butter as an overnight treatment. It feels really good on the lips. Your lips will feel moisturized and nourished (while it is ON). I slept with it on overnight. When I removed it the next morning, I did NOT see plumper lips. I did NOT see fuller lips. My lips did NOT feel moisturized. I tried this several times, to no avail. So, I can't recommend this product. What I can do is recommend to you some really good lip balms that I use: 1. Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Balm 2. Emile Cordon New York Lip Balms 3. Burt's Bee's Overnight Lip Treatment and even Vaseline. I hope this review helps. I have one more Sweet Cherry product to review.

Naturopathica Sweet Cherry Polishing Lip Scrub Review

Not Sponsored: For the past couple of weeks, I've been reviewing products from skincare brand Naturopathica. I've tried products from both their Chill Chocolate Vine and Marshmallow skincare collections. Now I would like to review some products from their Sweet Cherry collection, this weekend for you. Let me start with Naturopathica's Sweet Cherry Polishing Lip Scrub. This lip scrub is part of Naturopathica's Sweet Cherry Reveal Set, but it can be purchased separately. The consistency of this lip scrub is really good and is everything you would expect it to be. It reminds me of a puree. It contains exfoliating cherry seed powder, antioxidant-rich sweet cherry seed oil and hibiscus flower extract which is a gentle polishing AHA (alpha hydroxy acid). You can read more about AHAs and BHAs here. This lip scrub has a very natural scent. When applied to the lips, it will immediately exfoliate the skin on your lips. It's pretty thick and heavy duty, but gentle. It's also very moisturizing. My lips felt both soft and smooth after using this lip scrub. Is it better than my favorite Sara Happ lip scrub? No, I prefer Sara Happ. For one, Sara Happ lip scrubs are lighter (I prefer lighter-weight lip scrubs) but have the same outcome. Secondly, SH flavors are yummier and more delectable in my opinion. If I didn't know about Sara Happ, this lip scrub would definitely be one of my favorites. If Sara Happ is too expensive (I always try and catch sales), try Micki Song. It seems they have two new flavors ... Apple Pie and Frosted Sugar Cookie (Hmmm ... I must try). They're really good and won't break the bank. Also Good Earth Beauty has some delicious and effective lip scrubs for a great value. I've reviewed a lot of lip scrubs and you can read my reviews here
