Shabby Apple: Tea Time

Don't Be Late For Tea! I think Disney's Classic Movie, Alice in Wonderland was my first introduction to tea and beautiful dresses. Don't they go hand in hand? HaHaHa

As many little girls did, I hosted play tea parties where I would dress up in clothes too big, seat stuffed animals & dolls in every chair and gave my cute play tea set a good work out. LOL Now that I'm older I go to themed tea parties with either my mom or friends at The Windsor Court and wear grown up girl tea dresses :).

Shabby Apple Dresses! Shabby Apple came out with a cute collection of dresses entitled Mad Hatter. I thought they were really pretty and the photoshoot is absolutely adorable. They always have the cutest collection. So I decided to showcase them here for you along with my new Asian tea set that one of my friends gave me. What do you think of the Mad Hatter Shabby Apple Collection?

A Very Merry Un-Birthday To ME! To Me? One of my friends, this year, gave me an Asian tea set for my birthday. It's really beautiful. You should've seen me try and put the handle on the tea pot! HaHaHa FYI: insert pointy things and lower circle thing-a-majigs afterwards. It took me several minutes to figure it out! HaHaHa I'm still trying to get use to the lack of handles on the teacups. O_o

Would You Like A Spot Of Tea? I really need your help. I'm not a tea connoisseur and could really use suggestions on what tea you like and would suggest. I know there's more out there than chamomile, green and lemon tea. HAHAHA This Fashionista needs all the suggestions she can get! LOL

  1. I do something weird with my tea. I get a designed tuperware like thing. Fill the bottom with really strong apple cinnamon tea. Then I pack it with green tea. Soon all your green tea will have a hint of the apple cinnamon. It's declicious!!!

And I love your tea set. I have a similar one. Gesha night soon? I think soo...Have a great weekend!

  12. i think the mad hatter is one of my absolute favourite fictional colours and any theme related to him is always intriguing..the clothes are beaiful by the way..it's my dream to do a mad hatter themed outfit...
i am a tea addict and i have 2 cups everyday..
darjeeling tea for it's flavour and assamese tea for it's malty bright colour...i am indian and i don't like green tea that much..infact it was like hot water to me!these cups are ideal for winter days you know when you can wrap your hands around it and let it warm them as you sip on it...oh and masala chai is another favourite but it's for rare days as it can get too heavy..try soaking grated fresh ginger or cardamom in your tea alongwith the leaves before straining it..helps when you have a cold.

My favorite tea is Rooibos Tropica. I think you can get them at Whole Foods Market or you can order online at Teavana.com. This tea has so much benefits and it really gives me the relaxation I need after a long day.
