Who's The Fairest Of Them All?

Monday, September 16, 2013

That's what I kept asking myself, as I came across all of these fairy-tale & spooky themed books, television shows and fashion pieces for Fall. My answer, "Why ALL of them, of course?" HaHa Have you seen Anthropologie's book selection? If you're a fan of fairy-tales or classics, check out their books online. Besides The Brothers Grimm and Alice in Wonderland, they also have Pride & Prejudice, Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre, Little Women and Sense & Sensibility. The covers are gorgeous! I want them all! HaHaHa  It's definitely nearing Halloween, Stephen King is releasing (Sept. 24th) a new book called 'Doctor Sleep', which is a follow-up to 'The Shining'. It surely doesn't look like Joyland! HaHa I also came across an interesting book entitled, 'Love and Misadventure'. It takes you on a journey from love to heartbreak to finding love again (love can be a fairytale and/or a nightmare! LOL). I'll be watching all the television shows below. Sleepy Hollow starts TONIGHT! It's a new twist on the tale of the headless horseman. Charlotte Olympia has done it again! She now has a Once Upon A Time Collection for Fall 2013. This is only a smidgen of what she designed. Be sure to check out the entire collection. Wishing each of you a fairy tale week :) Just be sure to watch out for the villains! >.<

I really enjoyed fairy tales when I was a child and I still enjoy fantasy literature now. Sometimes they're a good way to left this troubled world behind for a couple of hours.

Yay for Downton Abbey's return though it is still a few months away. Dracula honestly looks quite strange. Otherwise, there are definitely a few fun shows this coming season!

I actually had no idea Anthropologie had their own cool covers! Do you know the barnes and noble covers of the classics that are hardback and ornate? I have literally every single one of them. I'm a sucker for pretty books, so this post is about to do some serious damage to my wallet.

What a fun selection, Kim - I love the halloween-themed shoes! It's funny, living in Europe for the past year, halloween just wasn't part of my life... and when I got back, I was so surprised to see all of the decorations already out in stores! I'm definitely looking forward to celebrating - and indulging in a few treats ;) - this year!
