Ulta Limited Holiday Edition 3-in-1 Beauty Smoothies

Bubbles. Bubbles. It's time to relax and enjoy the weekend. Wouldn't you agree? Did you guys miss me yesterday? I found out today was going to be Friday 13th, so I did all my errands yesterday. HaHaHa Yeah, I'm chicken like that. HaHaHa What are you guys up to? I have a little housework & washing to do. Waiting on a couple of ornaments for my tree. I have three new books to read. I want to see the Hobbit, but I don't think that's happening this weekend. I also need to pick up some egg nog ice cream. But that definitely won't be TODAY! HaHaHa

Let's wrap up holiday body washes. I have soooo many holiday body washes, my shower looks like a body wash BAR! HaHaHa Instead of bottles of liquor lined up, I have bottles of body wash. Someone sign me up for BEAUTY-holics anonymous. HaHaHa I've also become a bodywash mix-ologist! I'll just blame it on my minor in Chemistry. 2 pumps of this. 2 pumps of that. Have you ever mixed body washes? Some combinations can be really cool. These Ulta limited holiday edition 3-in-1 smoothies are now $8.99 PLUS Buy 2 Get 2 Free. Dammit, I got 2 for 2 but they were $12.50 when I purchased them. Double Dammit! So here's my review.

supersweet(run & buy it) sweet(really good,buy it) bittersweet(ok, issues)not sweet(not good,don't buy this stuff)

Pink Sprinkles is Sweet
The Pink Sprinkles body wash is a ballet pink color. It smells really nice. I would describe it as pink frosting atop a cupcake. Very light & sweet scent. Ulta got it right.

Merry Macaroon is Not Sweet
The Merry Macaroon body wash has a mint green color to it. I wanted this to be a winner, because I loved the sparkly and colorful macarons on the label. The scent is very artificial. It's as if someone came up with a beautiful label, decided on a beautiful color for the body wash and forgot about the scent. It's not hideous or anything. It's just BLAH! LOL

Buttercream Cupcake is Supersweet
This was my favorite! I told you guys I was going back for this one after the holidays (click HERE). I loved it from the beginning. It definitely smells like buttercream and for me this one is the icing on the cake :) NOTE: This body wash is NOT part of their holiday line. However it is part of their Buy 2 Get 2.

Candy Cane Kisses is Sweet
This has a very nice peppermint scent. It's soft. If you're looking for a stronger peppermint scent, may I suggest Philosophy's Candy Cane. It's like 10 bags of peppermint in one bottle of body wash. The first time I tried it, I was overwhelmed. HaHa I had to mix it with chocolate body wash to calm it down. However, I've grown accustomed to it. It will wake you up. I love it. Ulta's version is tamer. I think it would be great to use at night to relax and go to sleep. Very calming.

So as you can see, all but one was really good. The bottles are sturdy. Beautiful labels with pink glitzy bows. Another little quirk I had with these was the pump. It's not very easy to dispense. You have to really push down on it. And one pump won't do! Try several! HaHaHa

Oh! And why are these 3-in-1??? They can be used as shower gel, shampoo and bubblebath. Their antioxidant complex is acai, goji berry and mangosteen. They're also free of Phthalates, DEA and Gluten.

Disclaimer (Behind-The-Scenes): I used my kitchen sink (not my bathtub) for this post. HaHaHa The bubbles you see are Dawn dish washing liquid. I wasn't going to use all of my body wash. Even though I have a lot! LOL Have a great weekend!

Sounds like Buttercream Cupcake is the pick of the bunch. I bet just the look of these body washes cheers up your bathroom. So funny you stayed home for Friday the 13th. I didn't even realize about that and merrily went about my errands. My Fri 13th went o.k. Got my blog post done, had a house full of kids, housework not up to scratch, but I survived the day. Would be so nice to spend the day drinking tea and reading a book. That will happen for me one day... maybe. Have a great weekend Kim!

Oh wow, looking at the pictures, I wasn't sure at first whether they are for washing or eating. They look so fabulously over the top and fun! Now buttercream, that sounds delicious - I just wish I had a bath tub to really relax in and enjoy something like that - showers just don't seem to quite work in the same way ;-) Have a lovely weekend xo

Ah teh pink sprinkles one Kim, the cupcake on the front looks EXACTLY like a cupcake my little sister made me! Only it had a sprinkling of edible glitter on top of the frosting. They were the best cupcakes. And now I want cupcakes.....haha. I never learn. I should have dinner first, then read your blog!

Have a great weekend and a safe Friday the 13th! Almost completely over here, nothing bad to report...yet ;)

I purchased one of these in travel size for my recent trip to Mexico. I LOVED it!! I used it for shaving and body wash -- not for shampoo. But I loved it! It smelled great and I thought it was good quality!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas on your blog, Kim. What with all these sweets and colours. I can imagine your bathroom. I totally can. It's a desserts bar! I hope nothing bad happened to you on Friday the 13th. Good stuff happened to me in the form of a surprise lucky draw from work.

Have a lovely weekend.

Yes, precisely. But then again, I think there are many who do not even notice the warm tone or are fine with it. May good things happen to special people like you!

Ohhhhh buttercream! I love products when they get the smell right that it just makes you want to eat it. Not literally of course :) I love how you did the bubbles in the background. Kitchen sinks come in handy! You always have such inspiring ways of presenting things. Happy weekend too.
