Jaqua Buttercream Frosting Forever Body Washes

Tuesday, August 12, 2014

i love frosting on cakes & cupcakes. frosting is the best. however, i'm not a "pile-it-on-heavy" type of frosting girl. lightly frosted will do. these buttercream frosting forever body washes ($16 USD) by Jaqua Bath & Body remind me of lightly frosted cupcakes. they're light, creamy, and very moisturizing. they wash away cleanly and your skin feels really good after showering. they come in the following scents: pink buttercream (light pink buttercream frosted cupcake), lemon buttercream (reminds me of lemon meringue), and orange buttercream (think dream-sicle or orange-sicle). the scents are light as a cloud and dissipate as you shower or bathe. so they're very soft (nothing alarming about them). if you're looking for a stronger scent, then i would skip purchasing this product. i can't pick a favorite, because they're all sweet. i've even mixed them together while showering! yes, i'm an unofficial body wash mixologist ;) i'll gladly add that to my beauty resume ;) have a great day everybody!

I like soaps that are not too strong on scent. The containers are really cute and the flavors sound delish. Is this brand different from Bath and Body Works?

Body wash mixologist - that sounds like a great job! You know how much I love cupcakes and frosting so these products sound inviting and I can never resist attractive packaging. I prefer a very light fragrance too ( and a light fluffy frosting on my cakes!)
Have a great week Kim.

I'm not much for frosting and usually scrape most of it off my cupcakes but I think I could get on board with this type of frosting. I like hearing that these actually leave your skin clean and feeling good. You always make me want new bath products Kim :)

Oh Kim, these sound just delightful! I love the idea of fragrances but strong ones tend to really distract and/or bother me - nothing worse than being able to smell something on myself all day long at work! So I'm definitely going to give Jaqua a try, these bodywashes sound perfect for me.

I generally do not care for food based scents in beauty products but as the scent leaves I might not mind it.

It sure looks like icing in a bag. Sounds interesting but i guess from your review you are not all that into it. Sounds sweet. If it smells nice and lathers well enough, i can still manage i guess. I enjoyed reading this. Thanks again Kim :).
