Pink Sugar Perfume Review

Welcome to the second week of Girls Just Want To Have Fun Week! Let's talk sugar & spice and everything nice! Last year (around Christmas), I needed to purchase a perfume from ULTA to get a gift I wanted. It was a perplexing task, because I'm not a perfume girl. I have a couple of scents I like, but they don't carry those brands. Well this Pink Sugar (by Aquolina) set was super cheap, so I picked it up. Well I was pleasantly surprised! It smells just like Cotton Candy (aka Candy Floss aka Spun Sugar). Nothing more. Nothing less. Very light & sweet. This set came with the perfume, shower gel, body mousse and hair perfume. I wasn't going to do a review on it, but it fit in with my current theme. Plus, somebody might wonder what it smells like. So, those are my thoughts. It was great for Summer.

  6. Ah Kim, this post is just for me!:D I love it, has been "my perfume" for many years when I was much younger and still love it. Glad you too like its sweet (unique sweetness) scent! xo

  7. I wore Pink Sugar for a brief period when I was younger. Ultimately, it wasn't the fragrance for me - I like spicier scents - but I do remember that there is no way it could ever make anyone turn their nose up; it really does smell just like cotton candy.

  8. This fragrance sounds so fun! Choosing a perfume is overwhelming for all of us I think. I love perfume but the problem is I love so many scents!

  9. I must admit I am a fragrance snob, never purchase anything cheap or so to speak and I always stick to the few that I am familiar with. But recently I have been reading a few bloggers whom are taken by surprised by cheap products that turned out really well so I'm starting to wonder if I am missing out. This set is something that I would totally skip but now reading your review, it actually sounds lovely and worth trying. Great review, Kim.

  10. Glad that you liked it, and that it was affordable. Sugary aromas aren't for me, but this would be such a perfect gift to buy too! Lovely review Kim! You just reminded me I will have to check Ulta soon for a friend's bday gift. <3

  14. Smelling like cotton candy sounds rather perfect for summer. I'm so unadventurous when it comes to scents.

  26. Good morning Kim,
I knew you and I had a few things in common! I am not a perfume girl either, but I do love a good body mist for date night. Can we all take a moment to admire the packaging? I love it. I am glad you had a good experience with the product.

    Lots of hugs, my friend!

  27. I'm not a perfume girl either. In fact, I made it a New Year's Resolution to wear perfume daily because I actually have several bottles from gifts and whatnot over the years. I don't think I would really try this one though - only because candy scents are a little much for me most of the time!

  36. For fragrances I tend to be a bit pickier than with make up - however I think I have seen this in stores but have not even tried it. Next time I see it I'll give it a sniff.
