L'Oreal Infallible Pro Contour in Light, Medium & Deep Review and Swatches

Well. Well. Well. Anybody knows what that means? LOL Towards the end of last year, I purchased L'Oreal's Infallible Pro Contour palettes on sale. All of them appealed to me, so I purchased all three. They come in light, medium & deep! Each palette contains a contour shade and a highlight shade. I'll keep this review really short. These didn't work for me. The contour portion, once on the skin was pigmented, but difficult to blend out. It didn't want to move! LOL The highlighters in each were so soft & powdery, that they easily dusted off my skin. If you want a REALLY SUBTLE contour, these may work for you. If you look at my pictures, there's really not much of a difference. I don't feel my face looks very contoured. You see a little highlighter on my nose, cheek area and forehead. But that's about it.

  3. Oh no, what a shame none of them worked for you after you got 3! At least they were on sale :)

Hope you're having a wonderful weekend.

  4. That's such a bummer that these didn't work out! This is another product that I've almost purchased a few times, but didn't. Since these are hard to blend, I don't think I'd like them either! They all look too cool toned for my skin tone I think, except maybe the medium shade! Thanks for the review and swatches, Kim! I've enjoyed all these L'Oréal reviews! I like it when you spend a week or so reviewing different products from the same brand!

  5. A good contour and highlight palette is hard to find! I'm always wary of products where the two shades are attached in one brick, I find it hard to keep my brush in the right place and the end result just feels like a mess to me. I really appreciate your honest review, Kim - I'll be staying away from these ;)

  8. Oh no! That is awful when you think you are going to love something, but it doesn't work out, and you bought all three.

  9. I haven't tried them. The highlighters all look very cakey indeed. Thank you for your useful review Kim! Love, Valeria

  10. Kim, I've seen these in the drugstore and wondered if they worked and thanks to you now I know. It's nice that they're subtle but it's too bad the formulation doesn't' blend very well.

  14. I agree with you Kim. These are not pigmented at all and very powdery. I love your beautiful red lip by the way ;-)
