Table Of Sweets

What's a getaway without a little indulgence? Ok, overindulgence. But that's what vacations are all about! LOL I had room service bring an assortment of sweets last night and a bottle of moscato (SMILE) *hiccup*. Cheesecake. Red velvet cake w/ cream cheese butter cream. Chocolate cake w/ chocolate mousse and chocolate butter cream. I could only sample each (they were huge hunks of cake), but the bottle of moscato? It's GONE! >.< Oh and lookie look! Some equally as sweet BEAUTY TREATS that I'll be reviewing and giving away in December! Now tell me, what kind of cake and wine do YOU like? I'm loving white wine.

Anna Sui Holiday Sweets Collection 01 (review), Sara Happ The Lip Scrub in Confetti Cake (review & giveaway),
Benefit Holiday Cheeky Sweet Spot Box O'Blushes (review & giveaway) - all in December!

  31. I am eating some chocolate I just made whilst reading this... :) It's nice to indulge once in a while, especially when everything is freshly made and looks so good! I love the tin of sweeties - it's just so pretty! x

  33. I can't drink wine for health reasons but I used to love red wine...and some sorts of white wine. I come from a region with a long tradition of making and drinking wine so I still enjoy its smell (if nothing else)...and I use it when I cook (because than the alcohol in it evaporates so it is ok).

These photos are so delicious that I'll be forces to take bits of cholocate from the fridge, mix them up with no fat yogurt and pretend I'm eating some kind of cake/desert.

  37. Cake and wine sounds fabulous right about now - especially since I just finished a very healthy dinner of brown rice and vegetables. I'm sure I earned it ;) When it comes to cake, I'll try anything once, but my absolute favourite is black forest. You don't see it much anymore, but for me that just makes it even more special.

  42. Everything looks so yummy!! I love anything chocolate and red wine. I pretty much indulge in chocolates everyday but they are the heathy types with more dark content and healthier ingredients. 😊

  43. You were absolutely right to treat yourself to some sweet treats and wine, Kim. Holidays are all about a little indulgence. Those cakes look so yummy. As you know, I have a sweet tooth and it's hard to say which cakes I prefer! I like so many types. White wine would be my choice too - especially Sauvignon Blanc! Wishing you and your family a wonderful Thanksgiving Day tomorrow!

  46. Kim, I'm totally fixated on that red velvet cake right now (it's my fave)! I do adore a good dry white, but I think I'd pair mine with a dry red (Pinot Noir, maybe). :) T. http://tickledpinkwoman.blogspot.com
