Too Faced La Creme Lip Cream & Lip Balm in Honey Bear, Just Kissed & Sweet Maple Review & Swatches

It's no secret, I LOVE Too Faced Cosmetics Lip Creams! The colors are great and they're very moisturizing. I added 2 more to my collection (see the others here and here and here)! Honey Bear and Sweet Maple. I think Too Faced is playing an April Fool's joke on me, because BOTH shades are extremely close in color. In the tubes they look the same. When I swatched them on my hands, they looked the same. It was only when I photographed them, that I could see a slight difference. Sweet Maple is a smidgen darker than Honey Bear. Click on the pictures to make them larger and you'll see that slight difference. I also wanted to try Too Faced's lip balm, so I purchased it in Just Kissed. It's not bad, but it's not great either! Fresh's lip balms, have really spoiled me with their performance. The color for Just Kissed (lip balm) is super weak and it's not very moisturizing (which I found surprising). If you want a great lip balm, then go with Fresh. It's still #1 in my book. Thank You Little Luxury List for the Etude House face towels. I used them in the pics below and will be using them in my daily face care. They are so cute :)

  9. I know you love them Kim, glad you got other 2 to add to your collection. You are right, they seem very similar but looking at the pic I can see sweet maple darker even though honey bear is my fav (how sweet is the name!). What a shame the lip balm though, Fresh is still onto my wishlist. Hugs! xo

  12. You def need to keep Honey Bear around. The color is beautiful!!! Sweet Maple is only barely different... but Honey Bear is a nicer name so I'ma stick with that one. :P I really will have to run and buy it.

  14. Those tow shades are quite similar, but I do see a subtle difference when you're wearing them. I've only started trying Too Faced products this year, but what I have tried so far, I've loved, so I'll have to look for these next time I'm on a Sephora run :)

  15. First of all, I absolutely adore your photography set up here, Kim! Super duper uber cute! LOL!

And wow, you weren't kidding about both shades being similar, I can hardly tell the differences other than Maple Syrup is a tad glossier? Nevertheless, both looks really lovely on you. xx
