Fresh Vitamin Nectar Moisture Glow Face Cream Review

I think it was the beginning of last year, that Fresh Beauty introduced their Vitamin Nectar Collection. Skincare with Vitamin C is SUPER HOT right now! For Fresh Beauty, the goal of their collection is to revitalize dull skin and give your skin a healthy glow. It was either a Nordstrom or Sephora purchase, where I received this deluxe sample of Fresh's Vitamin Nectar Moisture Glow Face Cream. It contains a vitamin fruit complex (proprietary complex of vitamins C, E, and B5; lemon and orange fruit extracts; and revitalizing minerals to help promote a glowing complexion. Glucosyl hesperidin, a naturally derived flavonoid found in citrus fruits, helps combat tired skin.) to give your skin a vibrant, healthy glow. It's also suppose to help soften, smooth and minimize signs of tired skin. I'm happy to say, this cream does ALL OF THAT! The cream itself has a very pleasant (soft) orange citrus scent. The consistency is creamy, lightweight and non-sticky. It absorbed quickly into my skin. After using this face cream morning and night, the texture of my skin felt REALLY soft & smooth. My skin also had a nice NATURAL glow. My skin FELT GOOD! The only reason why I didn't give this a Supersweet rating, was that I found this face cream didn't provide a lot of moisture (at least for my dry skin). I thought this face cream would give me both moisture & glow. Instead it gives you super soft skin & natural radiance. It's not a bad thing (because I definitely want to incorporate this cream into my skincare regimen), but you will still need a moisturizer (especially if you have dry or normal skin). Oily and Combination skin types may be able to get away with not using a moisturizer and just using this cream. Whenever I see nectar or vitamin c, I think sticky! HaHaHa And my sensitive skin doesn't care for sticky. This face cream is NOT STICKY! When I tried Drunk Elephant's C Firma Day Serum it was sticky. DE takes 15 minutes to dry down and eventually loses it's stick, but initially stickiness is what you feel. The DE serum worked, but it's what you have to go through. I had such a bad reaction to the Dr. Dennis Gross Ferulic Acid + Retinol skincare products that I didn't really give his Dr. Dennis Gross C+ Collagen Brighten & Firm Vitamin C Serum a chance. It wasn't sticky. I also tried Murad's Essential C Night Moisture. It was nice at the time, but this Fresh Vitamin Nectar blows it out the park. Out of all the Vitamin C products I've tried, I like this one the best. I am super impressed with the results I received from this sample and I want to purchase the full-size jar ($42). Fresh also offers a Vitamin Nectar Vibrancy Boosting Face Mask ($62). It looks sticky (marmalade), but I won't know until I try it. If anyone has tried any of these products, let me know your thoughts. If there is a Vitamin C product you love, let me know down in comments. I really do like this cream.

  1. Even if it's not very moisturising it's great that it does so well in all other areas and lives up to it's claims! :)

The comments above mine are a bit weird, haha!

Hope you are having a nice week so far! It's a good one for me as we have a day off here and I'm planning to relax a little, as much as the kids allow, ha! :)

  3. I have found the same thing with a lot of Fresh pruducts, Kim - they give glow, but not neccessarily the level of moisture I'm looking for. I do love their soy facewash, though! I think it's a great line overall, some products just work better for my specific skin type than others.

  4. We seems to like the same kind of products, Kim so I trust you on this and will give it a try in the future (if I ever finish the line up of moisturizers that I have now). This might be be enough for my skin in Winter but now that the weather is warmer, this might just be perfect.

  6. I'm so glad vitamin C is having it's moment. Totally my current favorite skincare ingredient. I think I love using it in powder form on my skin more than other forms but if I were to go to a cream, I'd definitely want to try this Kim. Fresh is a great brand.

  7. That's great to hear that this is a winner, Kim:) I was just telling Rowena on her blog that Vit C is one thing really lacking in my skincare regime. I'm gonna see if I can get a sample of this. Thanks for the heads up:)

  20. This this is the first I’ve heard of this brand! I like the sound of it although I need all the moisture I can get for my skin so it may not be enough for me. Love the fact it gives a good glow though. Lovely orange-y! Pics!
