I Wanna Easter Wreath!

Last weekend I frantically perused the Etsy website looking for an Easter wreath, but couldn't find anything.

My Mardi Gras wreath was still hanging on my front door and needed to be taken DOWN pronto, but I had nothing to replace it with. HaHa Holiday wreaths always look funny and out of place AFTER a holiday.

While sifting through the selections, I was like damn, there are over a 1,000 wreaths on this <insert curse word of choice> site and I don't like any of them? What's wrong with me!?! Am I THAT particular!?! My Type A personality started rearing it's ugly head. LOL

I FINALLY favorited (hearted) a wreath with a brown bunny rabbit on it. It was cute, but I wasn't sure about it. So I turned off my computer and called it a night...

The next morning I went to purchase the wreath with the brown bunny rabbit and the <insert curse word of choice> wreath was GONE! I was like, I'll be DAMN! Out of ALL the THOUSANDS of wreaths on this site, someone bought the one I wanted (well kinda)! Hint about Etsy: Favorite an item from a person's shop, but NEVAH the item you want. I was so mad. I could've spit eggs (in various colors). So back to the hunt for an Easter wreath I went...

After searching page after page, a wreath finally caught my eye. I was hoping it wasn't a mirage. Could it be? YES!!! A wreath I love. Don't you love it when you find something you love!?! Yaaay Decoglitz (that's the name of the Etsy shop)! You guys, I didn't hesitate! I truly loved THIS wreath. I loved the beautiful mesh and dotted ribbon, vibrant colors, basket of tulips anddddddd decorated Easter eggs in the wreath. There's even GLITTER eggs intertwined throughout it! THIS was MY wreath!

So I took my credit card out <Waived it in the air! I waived it like i didn't care! Wasn't that a song!?! LOL>, filled out all the info and hit SEND or was it ENTER. Who cares? It was MINE!!! ALLLLL MINE!!! I felt like hopping! Hee Hee Hee!!! I didn't know wreath shopping could be so stressful. I can be such a BAD egg sometimes. So there it is below you guys! The wreath I'll be hanging on my door.
All wreath pics above are from Decoglitz's Etsy Page
I received mine yesterday. Below are some pics! :)
While looking for the wreath...I had a Willy Wonka flashback. Remember Veruca Salt? She was snob and a half, but I still liked her for some reason. I loved that song she sang, "I want it NOW".  I'm farrr from being selfish (you guys know that), but I couldn't help but think about her while shopping for an Easter wreath. I really needed a wreath right away and none were appealing. I was like, I don't care how but I NEED A WREATH NOW...and if I don't get the things I'm after...I'M GOING TO SCREAMMMM! LOL

So THANK YOU Judy And Mindy for creating such a
beautiful wreath for my door! I <3 Both of You!

  9. That is gorgeous, I love wreaths on the door!! I always think it looks so happy and pretty!! Most people think you should only have them on a holiday or if there is a death in the family (which I didn't know before) but I think they are wonderful!! I wish I could come get some candy now, haha!! The colours are marvelous!! Big HUGS my friend!! Oooh you know how you can only get those cadbury eggs at Easter time in America (unless they've changed this silly rule by now) Here you can get the cadbury's eggs like all year round except for like a month or so, but ALL year round, hahahahaha!! I remember when I first came here, I saw them in the store and it was like November/December time & I was like wwhhhhaaat, you can get them at this time??' And everyone looked at me like I was crazy!! I was so happy, I was filling my trolley with them, haha!! Hope you have a smashing day doll!! XXXXX *hugs* XXXX

  11. Oooh, Kim, you´ve just made me laugh out loud like crazy! I love every single word in this post! Isn´t is maddening that with all the stores, shops and choice out there, sometimes you are simply unable to find the right thing? But I guess all the trouble was worth it: that glamorous wreath is to die for! And now I´m jealous because I don´t have one! Maybe I should go hunting ;)

    Happy first of March :)

  14. Hi Kim,

It's Judy from Judy/Mindy at Decoglitz! That has to be the funniest blog I have read in a long time! We are so glad you love your wreath and we feel honored that you chose us from ALL of those Etsy wreaths! And, we are glad the other one sold:-) Thanks for the GREAT feedback, too!

    Judy

P.S. Our shop name on Etsy is reversed from our actual name....it's a long story but that's why our business cards and gmail address are GlitzyDeco and our Etsy name is Decoglitz!

  15. The Wrath is really beautiful Kim. Worth the stress. One thing I learnt from buying stuff online, if you find something you like buy immediately lol. Can always return later if you change mind.

  22. Its so lucky that you patiently waited to buy a wreath that you really liked. Imagine if you had bought the brown bunny one and then seen this charming one only afterwards. Everything happens for a reason I guess, even on Esty, lol. I love the pastel colours on this one, so pretty
