Murad Refreshing Cleanser (Age Reform) & Renewing Cleansing Cream (Resurgence) Review

PR Sample - Murad asked, if there were any other products I would like to try :) I got really excited, because there were some products I was curious about and would love to review. So I put together a Murad WISHlist, only expecting to get a couple of items. Murad ended up sending me EVERYTHING on my list (2 boxes)! I was in shock! Thanks Murad! So I will be doing reviews and letting you know my thoughts as I try each product! Remember, my thoughts are 100% my own and I give my honest opinion! I tried Murad's Soothing Gel Cleanser (in August) and loved it, but I was curious about two other cleansers. They sent me their Refreshing Cleanser (Age Reform) & Renewing Cleansing Cream (Resurgence) Collection. I've tested them for about a month now and below are my thoughts.

supersweet(run & buy it) sweet(really good,buy it) bittersweet(ok, issues)not sweet(not good,don't buy this stuff)

Murad Refreshing Cleanser (Age Reform) - Sweet
If I had to summarize this cleanser up, using only ONE WORD ... it would be CLEAN! It will remove all of your makeup. Your face will feel squeaky clean! I do want to emphasize that despite how clean your face gets, this cleanser is NOT HARSH. This cleanser DID NOT dry my skin out (and I have DRY/SENSITIVE SKIN), but I did feel like I needed a light moisturizer afterwards. I never experienced any redness, irritation or peeling while using this product. As you guys know, I am not a fan of scented facial products BUT the scent of this cleanser is so CALMING ... it smells like a Hawaiian Beach Sea Breeze! It's heavenly and I loved it! Scents usually offend me, but not this one! Despite all of these wonderful things, I don't think this cleanser is perfect for MY skin type, but would be excellent for anyone with oily, normal or combination skin. If you have dry or sensitive skin, I suggest the Soothing Gel Cleanser or read my review below for the Renewing Cleansing Cream.

Murad Renewing Cleansing Cream (Resurgence)- Supersweet
My skin LOVES this cleanser! ONE WORD to sum it up...MOISTURE! My dry/sensitive skin absolutely loves it! It's super creamy! It has a pearlized texture to it. It cleans the skin beautifully and thoroughly. It's the perfect combination of CLEAN and MOISTURE, without feeling any film, stickiness or residue. I am VERY impressed! This cleanser does have a clinical scent, that's ok. But the results are what I truly love. Overall, my skin is really loving Murad's Resurgence Collection. The key ingredient in this cleanser is Apricot Kernel Oil, which is a lightweight oil that’s rich in oleic and linoleic acids—two revitalizing essential fatty acids that are especially helpful for mature, sensitive skin that or skin that is inflamed or dry. If you have dry/sensitive skin like me, you will LOVE this!

Stay Tuned for a review on another product from Murad's RESURGENCE Collection Tomorrow...

I'm not a fan of scented products either since pregnancy but the subtle Hawaiian Beach Sea Breeze scent sounds promising for real. So cool, Murad sent you their products to review again, Kim. Great job, dear!!

I'm so glad you are going to review other products from Murad! I feel the same about face cleansers: my skin must feel clean and moist after washing, so I think I would prefer Resurgeance face wash like you did. Your beauty reviews are unparalleled, I have always looked up to you. Much love dear Kim, and Thank you for your lovely comments! Baci, Coco et La vie en rose fashion blog - Valeria Arizzi

I'm not one who will splurge on cleanser because I pretty much have cowhide as skin but I might make an exception for the cleansing cream. It sounds heavenly and one that mu skin would appreciate especially in the colder temperature. Great review, Kim and am glad to see a post from you. I hope your home renovation is going well, can only imagine how stressful it is. xx

These both sounds super nice Kim! I've been hearing so many great things about Murad lately. I've been having skin issues for the past month or two and I've been trying to use really gentle things on my skin, so that first cleanser sounds like it would be great for me. I'm glad you liked the cleansing cream and I'm looking forward to your other reviews on this brand! So nice of them to send you so many products!
I hope your home renovations are going well!

I have heard so many great things about Murad and the line of skin products they have. My older sister tried their products out a few years ago because she suffered from adult acne. Her skin cleared up and looked amazing! I don't have problem skin other than oiliness, but they do seem to have great products.
