The Ritz Carlton, New Orleans

Last weekend, I stayed at The Ritz Carlton New Orleans (Maison Orleans Club Level). My stay there was lovely! The Ritz Carlton is a gorgeous hotel, located in downtown New Orleans. If you stay, you're definitely in for a treat. I recommend staying Club Level, because the amenities are fabulous. Today I'll give you an overview of the hotel and tomorrow I'll show you the suite I stayed in for the weekend. The Ritz Carlton is only a couple of blocks from the Saenger Theatre, where I attended a Broadway show.

A gorgeous arrangement of Mardi Gras themed flowers were located in the lobby of the hotel.

 Serene lobby and courtyard

The hotel is filled with gorgeous floral arrangements, portraits, sculptures, artwork and antiques.
It's truly a visual feast for the eyes.

Gorgeous spa & shoppe! They had my favorite brand...Lollia!

If your reservations include a Club Level Suite, then you are given private access to The Ritz Carlton Club Lounge. A dedicated concierge attends to your every whim and continuous culinary delights are offered throughout the day (breakfast, light snacks, hors d' oeuvres, beverages and sweets).
Everyone was really accommodating, nice and the service was impeccable :)

And now breakfast...

At Club Level you also have access to a snack bar, which includes fresh fruit, cookies, candy, chips, water, coffee & a variety of spirits.  >.<

A few more beautiful treasures, on my way to my room!

Tomorrow, I'll show you my suite :)

Wow Kim - it looks like you had just the loveliest stay! When I was younger, I always rented apartments when I travelled and I still think it has a certain appeal, but now that my husband works in a hotel, we find ourselves staying in hotels more and more and it's true, the personal attention just can't be beat!

I love the old school glamour charm it has and the idea of having that private club lounge is the definition of luxury; I know you must have felt like a queen (that you ARE)!
