Feeling Smitten Bath & Body Product Review

I spotted Feeling Smitten's bath & body products one evening on instagram and instantly fell in love. Their products literally look like sweet treats from a patisserie or ice cream shoppe. Cupcake bath bombs, bath salt shakes, shower truffles, ice cream cone tub treats, gelato sugar scrubs, and body cream (lotion) in champagne bottles!?! Yes, please!!! I delved a little further and found out their products are FREE of sulfates, parabens, and phtalate. They're also sensitive-skin friendly. The company is based in the US, but they do ship internationally! Yaaay! In 2011, Oprah Winfrey chose their products as one of her Favorite Things. Whaaat!?! I had to place an order! Here are my thoughts (this is not a sponsored post).
Sweet-Bittersweet-NotSweet
supersweet(run & buy it) sweet(really good,buy it) bittersweet(ok, issues)not sweet(not good,don't buy this stuff)

Feeling Smitten Mai Tai Gelato Sugar Scrub is Supersweet
This is literally a cocktail drink for your bath & skin! It has the perfect name, because the scent is sweet & fruity! I could sniff it all day. LOL Besides the awesome scent, the beautiful blue color also makes it delightful. It's different from other scrubs! It's not DRY! It's not grainy! It's moist and finely milled. Take a scoop, add some water and apply to your skin. My skin felt VERY soft after using it. It washes away clean and you won't feel greasy or oily. Love Love Love! Because of the ingredients, I would use this within a month or two. I purchased this in December, had some left (February) and the coloring had turned darker. So again, don't purchase this until you're ready to use it. It won't work sitting on a shelf for long periods.

Feeling Smitten Lemon Custard Gelato Sugar Scrub is Supersweet
I know I have a lot of readers that LOVE LEMON! Well this is lemon done RIGHT and a yummy scented lemon it is! It's delicious to the senses. Very light and pleasant. The only difference between Mai Tai (above) and Lemon Custard is the scent and shelf life. I would use Lemon Custard within one month of receiving it. I kept a little extra in the jar and it started turning brown. So use it right away. The gelato sugar scrubs come in a number of scents. Check their website for selections.

Feeling Smitten Blackberry Champagne Body Pop Lotion is Supersweet
What you see below is the trial size. The larger size, actually comes in packaging that looks like a champagne bottle. It would be superb as a gift or for party favors. I love the scent. It DOES smell like luscious blackberries. The scent is very soft. The lotion is lightweight and white in color. I have very dry hands, so about 3-4 dabs moisturized my hands completely. It's not sticky or greasy. It feels good to the skin. I really liked it. The trial size is great for on the go (to put in your purse or desk drawer).

Feeling Smitten Pink Confetti Bath Salt Shake is Sweet
Awww, Shake...Shake...Shake! Shake...Shake...Shake! Can one just admire the packaging of these bath salts!?! The bath salts are placed in a bag, twist-tied, and then in a cup w/bubble lid. They are then atopped with faux whip cream, sprinkled with bath confetti and have a pink & white striped straw. ADORE! It's truly the cutest. Gorgeous pink bath salts. Light raspberry scent. So why just a sweet rating? It leaves a pink coloring on your skin. HOWEVER, it washes away once you use soap! I know all the ingredients are good for you, but I like things to wash away cleanly on their own (without having to use something else). Again, it did wash away cleanly w/soap, without a lot of elbow grease and my skin felt super soft & moisturized. So I felt it too harsh to give a bittersweet rating. Use this within a month or two.

Feeling Smitten Pink Bliss MINI Cupcake Bath Bomb is Sweet
Feeling Smitten's cupcake bath bombs come in mini and LARGE sizes. Here's a mini (below is the large). So cute! Ribbon frosting, confetti and cute sprinkles (Remember: DO NOT EAT! It's NOT for consumption). Pink bliss is scented pink grapefruit and jasmine. I'm not a huge fan of either scents (but that's a personal choice & won't effect my review). What I've noticed, is that Feeling Smitten's scents are ALL soft and none of them are offending or alarming whatsoever. It softens your bath water and YOU! The shelf life for this is excellent (about 3 mos)!

Feeling Smitten Berry Bomb LARGE Cupcake Bath Bomb is Supersweet

I didn't order this one! It was a freebie! They added it to my order. I thought that was REALLY sweet! An awesome gesture on their part. Very generous! Thank You! :)

Well, I loved it! Can anyone say blueberries? Their description also says pomegranate, but blueberry is the definitely the dominant scent. Get ready for BLUE and I mean BLUE bath water (see my GIF)! I felt like I was in the movie The Blue Lagoon. I was waiting for palm trees to sprout up! HaHaHa I would use this in 1 to 3 months.

See it GO! Fizzy...FIZZ...Fizz! The large bath bombs really have a lot of power to them! The bottom fizzes first and then you're left with the cupcake top which slowly melts away.

Feeling Smitten Fizzy Bath Lemon Cake
I didn't rate this one, because I haven't used it yet! It's too pretty! HaHaHa Doesn't this look like a slice of yummy birthday cake? I adore the packaging. It STILL looks very pretty and it's going on 3 mos. Before you get too excited, I didn't see this listed on their site anymore, BUT if you type "feeling smitten fizzy bath cake" in Google, it comes up on their site and can be placed in the cart. I WOULD CONTACT THEM to see if they have it. It's a soft lemon pound cake scent as described. Again, I can't rate or tell you anything else because I refuse to use it. HaHaHa

Everything about Feeling Smitten is charming! Just look at the box, they send their products in. Their attention to detail is impeccable. The scents are awesome. The products are superbly decorated. They carefully package (bubble wrap) and seal all items. You can tell they take pride in what they do! It shows! The company is composed of a huge team of talented people (check their 'about us' page). Each has an important role to play. These are handmade beauty treats. You don't find that much nowadays. They impressed me and I'm sure they will impress you.

Have A Great Day Everybody!

  10. They look so fun, colourful and fabulous, I'm not sure I'd actually use them! They would make great little gifts for girlie friends. The only thing I wouldn't like (just like you) is to have to wash off any colour with another product. Sweet find (hehehe) xo

  26. Oh my goodness the bath cakes and cupcakes look so pretty I'd love to just have them on my bathroom shelves, although they'd probably make me hungry, lol. Love that you reviewed all of these, normally it's the kind of thing I'd pass up thinking that the product itself probably isn't great. And if Oprah likes it then it has to be pretty good stuff!
