Jurlique Skin Balancing Face Oil Product Review

I want you guys to put oil on your face! I bet you're giving me the side eye right now! HaHaHa Remember my cleanser catastrophe a month ago? My skin became super dry and flaky! Yeah, yuck! Well, I'm all healed and better now because of Jurlique's Skin Balancing Face Oil below.

Sweet-Bittersweet-Not Sweet
Jurlique's Skin Balancing Face Oil is SUPERsweet!

It's awesome you guys! It comes in a brown heavy glass bottle, that has a dropper. Apply one drop for each section of your face and rub it in. Now let me tell you! It looks like oil and when you initially apply it to your face, it feels like oil. However, within 2-3 minutes this product absorbs into your skin. Your skin will feel so soft & smooth. You will constantly want to touch your face. I was pleasantly surprised! It is lightly scented, but nothing overpowering or unbearable.

So bottom line, I LOVE this stuff! I recommend this product for normal, dry and sensitive skin types. I think it would be too much for oily skin. I would only use it at night. I think it's too much for daytime with makeup. Only if you plan on staying home. That's my recommendation.

Here Are Some Of My Other Jurlique Product Reviews:

  3. Oh very timely review Kim! Being sick and getting up early in really cold weather means my skin is drying out already, we haven't even hit winter yet! I've started slipping a little drop of rosehip oil into my normal moisturiser routine at night and my skin is drinking it up and nice and soft :)

Like you said it sounds strange to put oil on your face, but the pros like Cosmetics aficionado do so that gave me the courage to try with the rosehip. Might switch to this though, more of an approved version actually designed for the job, haha!

  7. Your reviews are great! This oil sounds lovely for drier skin and I guess in the colder months it would be so soothing. Here, however, it would dissolve my skin into a lardy mess haha.. I just finished washing my face AGAIN -- the weather here is that humid and the sweaty facial grease is that gross lol!

  8. I've never tried a face oil - my skin leans toward being oily, and I worry about breakouts. But I have to say, there's something out the packaging that I always love... the heavy brown bottle with the dropper, it just looks like serious stuff! Glad to hear this worked so well for you, Kim :)

  10. Hi Kim! Thanks for your recommendation, I usually tend to avoid oil for face just cause it didnt absorb into my skin but from what you said it dries after a bit, so I'm curious! Kisses dear! xo

  11. I adore using oils, Kim and done so for years now. I think it's always a little odd to try it, especially for girls with oily or combination skin, but at the end, this is something so natural and organic for the skin that it just makes is super happy and beautiful.
    Thank you for the review!

  13. I've always been really skeptical of oils for my skin because it's so sensitive and I feel like I'd look like there's butter all over my face lol...but I trust your opinion on this and would definitely try this especially because I like to switch up skin products and I've used Clinique for years. THanks for sharing this Kim!

  23. Kim, you are a great example of how a review should be written. Thank you. This oil sounds marvelous. I don't need more oil. I have too much. I don't even use a moisturizer except a bit around my eyes. Oily skin is a blessing after a certain age. hahahahaha Thanks for your nice compliments to me at my post. You are always so cool.

  24. That product sounds like it is great. But I have oily skin that I have been battling for my entire life. Finally a few years ago I found some products that are actually working for me.

  31. I have oily skin so it's kind of odd to imagine adding more oil to it - and the weather here is sooo humid.
But making it a night time habit could work :)

  32. My skin is oily too for Spring and summer. So I use gel creme moisturizers instead. However, if your skin is really dry, I recommend the new Clarins Dpuble serum which is really oil. It's not the product for me though. Thanks for your honest review and recommendations.
