Too Faced Candlelight Glow Highlighting Powder in Warm Glow Review & Swatches

Too Faced released a second Candlelight Glow the beginning of this year. It's called Warm Glow. Too Faced describes it as a 'champagne and peach combo, for a sunny, flattering radiance." I purchased Warm Glow, because I LOVED the first one (Rosy Glow - reviewed HERE). Now here's the funny part! There's not much difference between the two (at least on me)! I think the peach portion of the palette is cancelling itself out, because it's so close to my skin-tone. So I'm just left with the icy champagne glow portion. HaHaHa Maybe the peach, will show up on lighter or darker skin tones. The only other difference I see between Warm & Rosy Glow, is that Warm Glow (this one) seems to be more for evening. It gives you a more intense glow than Rosy Glow (and has more of a gold tone)! So I would swatch this in stores, to see how it shows up on your skin-tone. Warm Glow is good, but if you have the first one, this may not be necessary. Please compare & contrast the pictures in both of my reviews and you will see how similar the swatches are for both. I wore Warm Glow when I went to a concert at Beau Rivage (video HERE). This week, I will be showing you the makeup I wore when I went to the Duran Duran concert. Follow each day, as I build up to the final look. Tomorrow (Day 2), I will add Too Faced's new Sweet Tea bronzer to my look below :) Have a great week everybody!

  6. So interesting to hear that both are similar. Meanwhile, I'm working on stopping to buy highlighters because I somehow managed to collect 3 more (I love them all). So excited to see your review of the bronzer. I've been wanting that one!

  9. Too Faced Candlelight highlighters have been in my wish list since forever, Kim but I just never got around to purchasing it because there are so many other stuff that I want ahead of it. LOL! I love how it looks on you though, it's so pretty and glad to know it got your seal of approval.

  10. I love Too Faced bronzers, but I have to admit, I do find that a lot of the shades are so similar that there is no need to collect them all - and it sounds like its the same thing with the highlighters! Although I have to say, this shade is exactly what I'm looking for in a highlighter, so I'm definitely going to give it a try in store. Thanks for a great review, Kim :)

  22. Shame that there isn't much difference between the two products on you Kim,although it's good in a way as you liked the first one so much and now have something similar again :)

  24. I like the name of this product "Candle light" - and as for bronzers, I am not sure I'd know how to apply them. Even with that resourceful pamphlet.

  25. This highlighter looks stunning Kim! I don't have any of the candlelight highlighters, but I've wanted them! Too faced is just amazing so I'll check these out next time I'm in Sephora! I at least need to swatch them lol!

  28. I love the packaging of these, so pretty! Then again, Too Faced ALWAYS gets it right with their packaging! That's so weird that the two colors from different palettes showed up the same on your skin, hmm. Nonetheless, the colors look really pretty! Thanks so much for sharing, beauty, and I hope you're having a great start to your week so far!
