Mally Shimmer, Shape & Glow and High Shine Liquid Lipstick Review Swatches

Have you heard of Mally Roncal? She's on QVC (States & UK). You may have seen her beauty products in ULTA. What many people don't know, is she use to do Beyonce's makeup when she first got started. She's known for giving Beyonce that popular GLOW and others wanted the same look! So she created a makeup line! The only way to describe Mally is EFFERVESCENT! You have to turn your tv down several notches when she's on, because she can get HAPPY! But I love her bubbly, positive, and uplifting spirit. I purchased a couple of items LAST YEAR (yes, I'm just unpacking them from my home remodel) from her collection and here are my thoughts. Wishing you guys a fun-filled & lovely week!

supersweet(run & buy it) sweet(really good,buy it) bittersweet(ok, issues)not sweet(not good,don't buy this stuff)

Mally Shimmer Shape & Glow (Powder) Palette - Supersweet

Contouring & highlighting have been around for decades, but you only saw makeup artists do it and celebrities wearing it. It was only last year, that BOTH became mainstream. This Mally Shimmer, Shape & Glow Palette came out YEARS AGO! It put Mally on the map, because people wanted that "celebrity glow". It comes in LIGHTER & DEEPER. I purchased DEEPER. She gives you a contour shade (shape), highlight (shimmer) & blush (glow). There are also 2 brushes (the bristles are very soft & they work great). The double-ended brush does two things (shimmer & shape). The blush brush is for the blush (glow). I contoured my entire face & nose. I applied the highlight to the bridge of my nose, cheeks, and cupids bow. I applied the blush to my cheeks. It really gave me a nice look! Now the BAD NEWS! Mally has changed these to stick form this year. It doesn't look like this palette is offered anymore :( But I just checked and this palette is on AMAZON! Stick form is more cost effective & easier to travel with, but I love these powders, brushes and mirrored case. Oh well! You gotta roll with the times! LOL I can't vouch for the stick formula, but the powders are great.

Mally High Shine Liquid Lipsticks - Sweet

Mally's High Shine Liquid Lipsticks are a cross between a lipstick & lip gloss. They do have some stick & tack, which some people may not like ... but honestly, while I wore them it didn't bother me. But I don't think your significant other will like kissing with these...just saying! LOL All offered wonderful coverage and applied well. Mally's Look is milky, so you'll have to prepare your lips when wearing it or risk it going into fine lines or showing up imperfections. They stay put, but expect to reapply after excessive drinking/eating. All of these are at QVC, except Southern Peach (it may come back because that is where I purchased all of these from, but as of right now it's not listed). Southern Peach is on Mally's website. Despite those quirks, I like them! They do have that typical lipstick taste & scent, so be mindful of that.

Must Have Pink

You guys already know my feelings about PINK! But this pinkish-brown worked for me.

Mally's Look

Mally's Look is a milkier pink than Must Have Pink.
It still looks nice, but for my skin-tone I prefer Must Have Pink.

Southern Peach

I SUPER LOVE Southern Peach! It really compliments my complexion/hue and blends in well with the Shimmer, Shape & Glow powders. It's a very soft, but rich color. She has a Southern Peach blush, so I'm thinking about picking that up >.< It looks just as pretty.

Summer Peach

When I first swatched this shade, I was like oh no and almost threw it away! LOL It came across very loud! Something told me to just give it a try! At least try it on! Well, I'm glad I did. It's a lot softer on the lips than the back of my hand! LOL It gave me a very pretty look! I was surprised! So sometimes you just have to give things a chance. I'm feeling very peachy-keen! LOL

Here are all of the shades swatched together

I once saw Mally on a talk show and boy your description of her is spot on Kim! She is just bursting with energy. She talked about her makeup line but I've never tried any of it before so it's fun to get an introduction from you. The lippie shades all look pretty on you but Southern Peach is definitely the standout. It looks like it was made for you Kim! You should get the blush. I bet it would rock :)

I've never tried out Mally before! I heard about the shimmer shape and glow palette a few years ago on YouTube and everyone raved about it. I'm glad to know its a good palette and that you like it, Kim! That's too bad she took the palette away, I'm not a fan of stick forms of contour/highlight and blush. All of those lip colors look sooook pretty on you Kim!

I am glad that you gave the peach shade a chance, Kim because you look amazing with it! And shame that the palette is no longer available, the swatches are amazing!

Yes that peach shade looks so bright on your hand but so wearable on your lips! It's a lovely colour on you Kim! :) Glad you got organised and ad the chance to give the collection a try, and that you were pleased with so much of it :) Shame some of the products are changing and getting hard to find though!

Away From The Blue Blog

I'm a fan of highlighting for, but only recently have been into contouring. You're right in that it's been around for decades. It's nice that more brands are offering different variations though. The peachy colour is lovely on you. I've been wanting to try a few new brands for illuminating shades and highlighting. Have you tried any shimmers or highlighters from Mac yet? I am still using my Anastasia Beverly Hills, since it will probably last me forever. :) Have a great week.

If Beyoncé use them, I would also like to use, shades of lipsticks are really beautiful, I could not know which one.

I love Southern and Summer peach on you! They are so different but cool. I remember she was beyonce's makeup artist back in the day. It's nice to know her makeup still rocks.

I finally picked something up from Mally because Ulta had the Eyeshadow Sticks as one of the 21 Days of Beauty deals! There seems to be an ease about the entire line that I really appreciate. That palette looks really great on you! I'm kinda sad it isn't around anymore in powder form. The lip colors are very pretty too. Glad you reviewed them because they don't look as sheer as I thought they would.

No Mally or QVC here, so this is all new to me .
I absolutely loved how the glow powder looks and I don't know how you do it: how can all shades look so fab on you ?

I first learned of Mally a couple of years ago when my mom told me that one of the women in her building is a twin and her twin does Beyoncé's makeup under Mally's supervision. I was like who's Mally!? Haha! So, I researched her and thought she was very down to earth and of course super talented, though I've never tried any of her products, but be rest assured that I'll be checking out the stick forms the next time I'm at ULTA because you look GORGEOUS! I love the way these products look on you. The palette gave you such a nice, beautiful golden glow and that peach really does look amazing on you. Haha, when I firs saw the swatch, before scrolling down, I was like, wow, that's bright! Haha, it definitely appears more softer and wearable on the lips. Thanks so much for sharing, beauty, and I hope you're having a great week so far!

Yes I know who she is, I have seen her on a few shows and yes she is power ball for sure, I can hear her voice in my head as I write this. I don't contour much as I have long angular face and ruddy cheeks no need for blush or contouring but strobing now that I like! And this looks like it would give you a great glow!!

Oh my gosh! I don't know how I missed this post! First of all, adore Mally, Kim! She's a fellow Filipina...what's not to love? hehe She used to have her line here on our shopping channel, but I never got anything....waaaaaaah! I hope she comes back Her contour palette sounds amazeballz! And Kim, you seriously rock that Southern Peach:)

I've only tried a few of her products...her brand is a brand I often forget about. Does that happen to you too? I'm not sure why, but I just do. I love the look of the contour palette, the highlight looks stunning. Too bad she's remade it. I might just have to check it out on Amazon. LOL! Southern Peach looks AMAZING on you, definitely pick up the blush as well.

Molly's products are totally new to me, Kim - but I love what I'm seeing! These colours suit you so well, particularly the lip shades. Of course I never really need new beauty products but I am going to be on the lookout for this line now :)
