Glossier Cloud Paint Storm: Review and Swatches

Not Sponsored: This week, I've been reviewing some Glossier products my good friend from Little Luxury List blog sent me for Christmas. I've never tried anything from the brand Glossier and I have been pleasantly pleased with the products I was gifted. You can read my reviews on Glossier Milk Jelly Cleanser and Glossier Futuredew Oil Serum by clicking on the links. Today, I would like to review Glossier's Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color Blush in the color Storm. Glossier describes their Cloud Paint collection as "a seamless, buildable gel-cream blush that's enjoyable to apply and easy to wear". "Simply dab on cheeks and tap into the skin for a natural, flushed from within glow." I found this easy to apply. YOU ONLY NEED A DAB! That's it!!! I show a lot on the back of my hands, but that was so you could see the color & consistency of the product. A little goes a long way with Cloud Paint. It's buildable! So start off small and if you need to add more, you can do so. I found that it applied and blended out well. There was no struggle. This is a blush/cheek product, but I found that it worked really well as color on the lips. And HIP HIP HOORAY!!!, the color never transferred to anything. We're going into Spring & Summer. I like to keep my makeup light and with Covid and mask-wearing still in place this is just what I need. I also tried it on my eyelids in the pictures below, and although ok I wasn't quite a fan of it on my lids. So I'm going to stick with it on my cheeks (as a blush) and lip color. Speaking of color! I love the color STORM. It's considered to be a Warm Rose. There are 8 shades all together and Glossier shows each shade on various models (white, black, etc.) so you can get an idea of what it will look like on your skin-tone. I'm a huge fan of Nudestix makeup for its simplicity and minimal packaging; and I can see I'm going to be a huge fan of Glossier's Cloud Paint. I can't wait to try more colors. As I try them, I will swatch them for you :)
