Philosophy Orange Pineapple Smoothie Product Review

As the seasons change, so do my body washes. While trying to decide what to spend my Sephora gift card on, I came across a new body wash by Philosophy called Orange Pineapple Smoothie. It sounded delightful enough and the ratings were good, so I went for it. Plop...in the cart it went. When I received it, I opened the bottle right away. It's always a good sign when something smells good right out the bottle. Oooh La La Baby! I love this stuff. All you need is a tropical cocktail after showering. HaHaHa I nearly forgot to take pictures of it for the review (I loved it so) which explains why the container is not full (sorry, i'm slipping! hahaha). The lather is creamy (as all their body washes), the scent is light & tropical (you can definitely smell pineapple & orange) and it comes with a cool pump which makes dispensing easy. It's an uplifting scent. Now, if the weather would just cooperate :) Oh Spring, Where Art Thou? HaHaHa

Sweet-Bittersweet-Not Sweet
Philosophy's Orange Pineapple Smoothie is SWEET!

  1. Oh I adore Philosophy products, they always smell amazing! This one sounds too delicious to limit to your body which could be slightly troublesome haha

  3. I've been a Philosophy devotee for years now, although I admit that when they discounted their butterscotch body wash, I was crushed and had to take a little break. I don't usually change scents with the seasons, but after reading this review, I'm seriously tempted - if spring refuses to come {we just had a snow storm yesterday!} then I could at least bring it to my shower, ha ha!

  4. I can almost smell the orange and pineapple!! I'm a fan of citrus scents especially in the summer. I change my perfume to something lighter in the warmer months. A Sephora gift card is a very thoughtful gift but so much choice - I would be in the store quite a while!!

  7. I sometimes do. I definitely like lighter, citrusy scents for warmer months. It just seems to make sense, doesn't it? But for the most part, I stick with one scent until it runs.

Philosophy's products are great. I love the birthday cake body wash they have. I think I tried the chocolate one a few years ago and seriously wanted to eat it any time I put it on my skin!

  9. You had me at orange pineapple, lol! Anything that smells like summer or tropical I love. My scents definitely lighten up during the warmer months. My favorite is a lemon coconut combo. Heather

  11. I must admit, I don't pay this much attention to my shower gels... I pick one I like the scent of (and ingredients) and keep repurchasing it.
This one sounds absolutely yummy - must be so wonderful and refreshing to use. x

  12. I change scents when the season changes, but I'm not fond of fruit fragrances. I stay on vanilla in winter and white musk in summer, while lavender survives all year long. Have you tried white tea fragrance? I think you would love it in this season! xxx Coco

Did you end up going to see Oz? What did you think Kim? I got some mixed reviews from my other friends.

  22. That looks & sounds amazing! Is it moisturizing? My skin is always so dry! I usually just use whatever is cheap in the grocery store but I do like to change up the scents. (maybe that's why my skin is so dry...haha!)

PS - would love your styling help today!

  23. Kim what a great post! I love the photos! It is so cool that you mentioned this because I totally change mine. Fall/winter I like vanilla or apple scents. In the Spring/summer, floral and citrus! :)

Oooh...this sounds wonderful...I can almost smell as well :) I love changing my products when the seasons change...I was just thinking of this the other day, that I need to update my stuff and I was playing with the Soap & Glory items and they smelled so nice. 41. Ooo...this looks yummy!! Ok, I'll definitely try this one out. I love citrus scents. I use to have this citrus scent lotion from Bath & Bodyworks and they discontinued it. I was so sad...but now since you highly recommended this one, it gives me hope =D
