AVEENO Ultra-Calming Nourishing Night Cream Review

PR Sample - Happy Sunday Everybody! AVEENO sent me their NEW Ultra-Calming Nourishing Night Cream to try and I'm in LOVE. It's been a REALLY long time, since I've used a night cream. The ones I tried in the past were greasy, heavy and oily. Well, not this one! The formula for this night cream is GENIUS and I don't say that lightly (you guys know how picky I am). This night cream is moisturizing, but light. It's soothing to the skin. It made my skin feel super soft, supple & calm. I felt a difference with my skin, after the very FIRST night of using this. For the record, my skin is dry, sensitive and reactive. When I say reactive, I mean just that. Everything affects it! I have to be mindful of what I eat, exposure to the sun, what skincare products I use, detergents I purchase and my sleep patterns. It doesn't take much for my skin to get red, scar, or breakout. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this stuff! I encourage anybody with dry or sensitive skin to pick this up and try it. I encourage ALL SKIN TYPES to try it. Your skin will love it. It's fragrance free, oil free, and hypoallergenic. It's creamy and it just FEELS GOOD. It contains Active Naturals Calming Feverfew (soothes red and irritated dry skin) and Active Naturals Nourishing Oat (nourishes and strengthens skin). AVEENO also sent me some Tazo Calm Chamomile Tea, Frosted Candle Holders, Votive Candles, Gold Tray and a Philips Wake-Up Light. I love everything (it's so Shabby Chic), and it made for a relaxing weekend. Watch the video to see the Wake-Up Light! It's so cool. It gradually wakes you up by simulating sunlight. The intensity can be adjusted. I just kept it on it's original settings to show you. None of these gifts affected my opinion or review of AVEENO's NEW Ultra Calming Nourishing Night Cream. All opinions are 100% my own. #KeepCalmWithAveenoOn

  2. Oh this sounds like a great product Kim! I'll keep an eye out for it here. I've been noticing Aveeno products so much more since seeing them on your blog!

At the moment my skin is still fighting a reaction to a particularly nasty serum I tried a while back so I am waiting for that to clear up before I go back to a different night time routine (with a cream like this). Hopefully won't be long so I can try this product out! :)

  7. I just purchased their normal one which I use for the daytime, but been eyeing a night cream too. I was afraid it'd be too thick but based on your description does not sound like it's too heavy. Definitely will keep in mind for my next drugstore visit.

  8. That wake-up light! I want! To be honest, I never really wore any night cream. I always find them too rich for some reason. Definitely giving this a try the next time I'm at a drugstore. I'm heading to Vegas on Wed for 5 days. Too bad, I don't have any other trips this year. With my new job, it's hard to ask for days off. Oh well, I guess I'll save some money. Have a great summer Kim!

  9. That wake up light looks pretty awesome!! This night cream sounds really nice Kim! I've been skeptical to try out more Aveeno face products since I didn't like the Positively radiant moisturizer. I might have to try this one though since Im almost done with my olay night cream!

  12. Couple years ago I was using aveeno moisturizer, eye cream and body lotion, which I loved. I switched just to try something new, but now I feel tempted to try this night cream. Always on the hunt for perfect one.

  13. What a lovely gift package to recieve, Aveeno night cream included, of course! :) I'm glad to see it receives a 'supersweet' rating from you! I've only recently this year started paying more attention to looking after my skin, so anything skincare related is all very brand new, shiny and exciting for me to read about haha :)

  16. I'm lucky to be able to try lots of different skincare products thanks to blogging - I rarely use the same thing twice! One thing I don't get to try too much of is drug store brands like Aveeno. And your reviews of Aveeno always make me think I should change that! (Although I still have a negative association with the brand, not because of anything they did but because I had to use their products when I got chicken box in twelfth grade - yuck!)

  17. Okay, I'm headed to Walmart to get myself this ultra calming night cream asap. I've just moved back to California for good (after living in the Philippines for 14 years) and I have never used a night cream or day cream before. But since the weather out here is different, I think night creams and day creams are a must!

  19. I know exactly what you mean about night creams. Many tend to be far too heavy but this one sounds so light and certainly might be worth a try! You received some lovely relaxing goodies there and you can never have too many candles! I've never heard of a Wake-up light. A clever idea! Have a great week, Kim.
