Doctor Lip Bang's Lip Freak Review & Giveaway

Sponsored: I am not going to lie! I was scared as heck to try Dr. Lip Bang's Lip Freak sent to me by PR, for ULTA's Beauty Holiday Exclusive. The outer package shows a sinister looking skeleton head! HaHaHa And with words like, "Beware Not For Crybabies...Consider Yourself Warned", "Within A Minute Your Lips Are Going To FREAK OUT", "Crazy Vibrating Buzz" and "Feels Electric" I was shaking as applied it! HaHaHa They sent me TWO! One kit contains Coco Loco Mint & Berry Sinister. The other kit contains Sin O Mint & Gingerbread Man (which is their Holiday Spice Lip Balm Kit). Both kits are only at ULTA. I tried the first kit (I had to before even THINKING about doing a giveaway with this) LOL Let's first talk packaging! The two lip balms come in a really cute black matte tin. The one I tried also had a pink mustache inside. You can attach the mustache to the top cap of the lip balm for decoration or use it as a finger puppet. I think it is so cute. You're also given three stickers! I "heart" lip freak and I am a lip freak sticker. I would put those on the tin. The tin can hold many lip balms, in case you want to collect these ;) So what about the lip balms!?!?!? They are SUPER moisturizing. Get to it Kim! How do they feel! When I first applied it, I said ... oh this is nothing! Then after a minute you guys, whoaaaa spicy hot peppers ... HaHaHa ... I felt THE BUZZ! It didn't hurt, but there was an intense tingle & literally a BUZZ! I've never felt anything like it. It's electric without the electricity! This sensation goes on for several minutes! But you're not running for water or crying to take it off. It's kind of cool. I wouldn't use this on children, chapped lips or if you have cuts or open sores. But hell, this would make a great Adult Halloween party favor (attached with a warning of course HaHaHa). My lips never turned red. They weren't sensitive afterwards. There was just a weird VIBRATION! The lips plump up a little, but nothing extraordinary. Put this on in the morning and YOU WILL WAKE UP! HaHaHa The lip balms are scented and do have a taste (for some reason it didn't effect my tongue). Coco Loco Mint has a hint of chocolate but it's more MINT. Berry Sinister has maybe a raspberry scent and very Menthol. They're really good! I am giving away the second (HOLIDAY kit), which contains Gingerbread Man & Sin O Mint (perfect for Halloween & Christmas). So who is DARING ENOUGH TO TRY THIS!?! LOL  Enter my giveaway below! It's open WORLDWIDE! Use the Rafflecopter widget below to enter! Read the disclaimer & fine details. Good Luck Everybody and Have A Great Weekend! Thank You PR & ULTA Beauty for letting me try this and giving me an extra to share with one of my readers. That was very kind. Thank You.

  7. Years ago, I worked at a store that sold a similar product, although the packaging was a bit less sinister...! I'm struggling to remember the name now, but it was heavy on cinnamon and lead to the strangest sensation on your lips. Lots of my co-workers loved it, but I could never seem to get used to it, somehow... Thanks for a great review, Kim :)

  14. So cool. I may have been scared to dive in too. The mustache would be great as a finger puppet. But really? You actually felt something. Now you got me curious about this product. It must have a warning that says not for children under --. Just so fun. Ingenious! Great giveaway. I will enter even though already follow you on Instagram.

  21. This product sounds so cool and it's fitting with the Halloween theme, such great marketing and concept on their part! I love that you tested the product out before agreeing to a giveaway, so you're really able to describe and explain what to expect first hand, especially with a product like this that produces a sensation, which again, sounds pretty cool, haha! Thanks so much for sharing, beauty, and I hope you're having the most amazing start to your week so far!
