How Stress Can Affect Your Looks And What You Can Do To Fix It

  5. This is one of those things I am always working on. More often than not, the stress is something our brain is creating for us. So that battle is usually with my brain. :) I had not hear of those automatic window closures before. How cool!

  8. I think when you struggle with anxiety or just have a more anxious temperament, it can be extremely tough. These are really great points and I always work on deep breathing with my anxious clients (and myself) because it really makes a difference!

  13. Oh, Kim, I really needed to read this, lol. I tend to stress myself out over the smallest things and really make situations that much more stressful than they need to be. I tend to be a perfectionist and well, I went to Catholic school in the '90s, yup, competitiveness and perfectionism were in fact drilled into me day after day. I've gotten better with it over the years, but I do need to step back and breathe more because I mean, I don't want any signs of premature aging, lol! My mom on the other hand, omg, she worries about nothing, lol, and it's no wonder she looks so amazing for her age, not one wrinkle at 50!   16. Wow, excellent post Kim. I definitely had a lot of stress these past weeks and had lack of sleep. It definitely affected my healthy glow in the face and my body was tired. It is so important to look after ourselves both inside and outside. My mom suffers from stress too because of her job. She is on medication now to regulate her blood pressure. I always have to remind her to relax and not take on heavy work loads :-)
